Mine is only a single-table 1000 record database with three primary keys (all text) and 19 columns. There are no AutoNum fields. Fields were defined manually but data was imported from Calc using the Copy wizard. Fields will appear to amend when overtyped but when I click Save Record the amended fields revert to their previous values. In addition, I can add new records with no problem but cannot delete (or amend) them. The problem exists both when trying to update a table directly and via a form. I have sight-checked the table and cannot discern any duplicated records. So it does not appear to duplicate issues #111959 or #112520. . I am trying to re-create this issue on an even smaller scale using synthetic data – so far without success. I am running Windows 7 x64using OO 3.2.1 000320m18 Buld 9502. The steps to recreate this area always the same. Start Open Office such that you see the menu for all the apps to run. Select Calc. Open Office closes, and that's that. No spreadsheet. If there are other open office documents open, like a word document, those windows close also. I'm running on an AMD pheno IIx4 910 processor at 2.6 ghz ram 8gb 64 bit windows I have uninstalled and reinstalled. And that does not fix this. Alternatively, if you have a write document (or any other OO kind) open and you select File: New-Calc Open Office closes and that's that. No spreadsheet. If I insert as you describe then I get a General I/O error when I try to play the clip. If I instead InsertMovie Sound, then I get 'Unspupported Format' and the file does not load. But it is still a bug. I have verified it to exhibit this behavior with the following two Xerox print drivers: Xerox WorkCentre 5638 PS Xeros WorkCentre 5665 PS As for a test case, I have created two test cases that both exhibit the problems: 1) A brand new Writer doc (odt) that is completely blank (1 page) -- send that to the printer and ask for two stapled copies - gives me two blank sheets of paper stapled together. Send that to the printer and ask for 2 duplex copies and get one sheet of paper. Okay - this is a silly test case and I am not sure what I expected the printer to do in this test case. As an interesting note, however, that other office wordprocessing program prints two blank sheets not stapled for both tests in this test case. I'm not saying that is correct - just giving a point of reference. 2) A brand new Writer doc (odt) that is completely blank but has page numbers in the footer and has 2 or more pages. Actually page numbers in the footer are not necessary to re-create the problem, but text on multiple pages is required to see the problem (printing blank pages does not add much value). Page numbers in footers is an easy way to get different text on each page but not the only way. I accomplish this by inserting manual page breaks and a footer with page numbers. Odd number of pages works best at demonstrating the problem. Send to the printer and ask for 2 stapled copies and I get both copies stapled together with one staple. (I get this problem with either even or odd number of pages). If I send to the printer and ask for 2 copies duplex, I get what I asked for if the number of pages is even. If the number of pages is odd, then I get page 1 of the 2nd copy printed on the back of the last page of the first copy. Clearly this is not correct. I can upload a test case if it will really help, but IMHO there is nothing special about my test case. I have tried multiple files and they all exhibit the same behavior. I can reproduce the behavior even with a simple test case as described above. I have the same problem actually in Writer also... when I select text and want to drag it to another place in the document, the whole thing just shuts down. This is extremely worrying, since I use drag and drop very often and often data is lost because I haven't noticed to save it before dragging. I grab hold of the cells with a mouse click 3. I drag the cells to another desired location on the spreadsheet 4. I let go of the cells 5. Program crashes (together with all other OOo programs: writer etc) That is a new effect for you? Did you already try to repair your OOo installation? It has happened before in OOoWriter with moving text. Just last night everything seemed to work fine... but suddenly now it started crashing. I havent tried to repair anything. Maybe something has to do with the fact that I save the documents in MS Word and MS Exel format??
