When this time is reached and a rpm is installed, then the settings are disregarded and a Java is searched again. It should be possible to define which cell area has to be inserted and linked. If you have a calc file with several tables the automatic process chooses sometimes the table that calc was showing last. When you update all linked objects in impress some of the inserted calc tables suddenly show different cell areas (sometimes from different tables) resulting in wrong and badly stretched views (since the OLE-object keeps its size and the new cell area might be bigger or smaller than the originally chosen one). The only solution at the time is to have different calc files with each only one table in it. But still, changing something in the calc file can result in wrong insertion. Problem is that VCL paints the Wavelines View-dependent (Zoom factor) in three hardcoded scale steps (performance reasons?). This cannot be modeled using a single geometric waveline as decomposition. Thus, the currently used decomposition tries to get as close to the current VCL behaviour as possible. I decided it to be over-estimated to create a view-dependent primitive decomposition just to mimic an old optimization in VCL. In general the text decorations which are hardcoded in VCL text rendering are hard to extract from there and are all view-dependent (zoom factor, internal Font scale) nore or less. I spent a lot of work already (asking HDU, too) to get as close as possible. Due to VCL behaviour decomposed text decorations cannot be expected to be exactly identical to VCL text decoration rendering. Also the wavelines start newly at every new waveline startpoint, also in old VCL. What may need to be done is to split wavelines in a way to add a start offset, but this is specific to processors which have to split text portions to smaller parts. When e.g. the TextDecoratedPortionPrimitive2D gets splitted by a processor to single complex chars, the TextDecoratedPortionPrimitive2D decomposition cannot have the needed knowledge anymore. Thus, the processor has to do that at splitting time. There is nothing more the TextDecoratedPortionPrimitive2D could currently do. Maybe the more common solution to geometrically split evtl. contained text decorations (by clipping the decomposed polygons) would be better if needed. Also for simple under/overline fat lines it is not guaranteed that painting single chars looks the same as painting the whole unsplitted text portion (all splitted decorations correctly overlapping)and the same is true for VCL, too, FYI. What i need to check though is the 'not spanning the entire text width'. If one adds or removes a bundled extensions by the setup, then OOo MAY not notice it. That is the new extension cannot be used by the user, or there seems to be one available which actually is not. This also applies for shared extensions. This problem may occur if OOO is installed on a NFS server, if the user installation is on a nfs server, or both. OOo compares the modified time of the folder containing all bundled extensions with the modified time of a file called lastsynchronized which is in the user installation (user/extensions/bundled). Only if the folder was more recently modified than the file, the extension manager will look for added or removed bundled extensions. Then it will write the lastsychronized file. That is, lastsychronized was more recently modified then the dictionary. If the modified time of the folder does not change, then the extension manager will not look for added/removed bundled extensions the next time OOo starts. This mechanism is new. That is, the lastsychronized file will not exist yet in most user installations. If the file is missing, then the extension manager will always look for added or removed bundled extensions. Comparing the modified times does not work well if the files/folder are on NFS volumes. If a client writes a file on a NFS server, then the modified time may that of the NFS server. In our scenario the folder containing the extension can be on one NFS server, and the user installation on another one.
