When printing out from an A4 landscape file however, the printer image is 5% smaller than the indicated size on the screen (I used a measurement line as reference). Example: a line 20cm long will print out as only 19cm in landscape format, but the full 20cm from a vertical page. My present printer is a HP5510 multipurpose (print/fax/copy/scanner) - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. As to the drive, there appear to be no health issues, and it's only 47% occupied, which I'd consider hardly critical. Mysterious, but thanks. I'll report back here after a few days to confirm my findings re using the OO file dialogs. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sw-issues] [Issue 116222] "Save graphics" mishandle s extensions
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=116222 Issue #|116222 Summary|"Save graphics" mishandles extensions Component|Word processor Version|OOO330m18 Platform|PC URL| OS/Version|Windows Vista Status|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard| Keywords| Resolution| Issue type|DEFECT Priority|P3 Subcomponent|save-export Assigned to|writerneedsconfirm Reported by|mvdejong --- Additional comments from mvdej...@openoffice.org Fri Dec 24 12:42:24 + 2010 --- Image in Writer-document, right-click, Save Graphics. When trying to save the image with a name containing one or more dots, anything after the last dot is considered a spurious extension and dropped, and replaced with the extension corresponding to the type selected from the drop-down list. I encountered it when saving the images from a document using the chapter/paragraph-numbering : "image 2.1.png", after a couple of saves I got the message that the file already existed, and noticed that the intended name had been corrupted to "image 2.png". So I need to provide at least one other dot to preserve the desired name : "image 2.1." or "image.2.1.png" or "image 2.1.rnd", al result in "image 2.1.png". - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
