1. issue 69900: Color picker should indicate the current setting

2. "Format - Character" shows all this information. Else you need Accessibility
Tools to display more info.

3. issue 33392. But possible to load and save palettes over the Format - Area
menu of a Draw shape

See also a general task for the color picker: issue 105642.

But you are asking for different features in 1 issues which makes this issue
invalid. See:
http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/basic_rules.html#one_per_issue

OpenOffice 3.30.9567, Calc

Have 2 Manual Page Breaks (Row Breaks) is a spreadsheet.

The print out (and in Preview) do NOT page-break where they should.

The print out is as if I had no Manual Page Breaks.

OpenOffice 3.2 did not have a problem, Manual Page Breaks printed where they
should.

I do have print formatted for 1-page x 4-pages, so a 3-page spreadsheet should
print OK.

This issue is about replacing the existing color picker with a new one.

It will be based on the specification at

http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/User_Experience/Projects/ColorPicker

This issue will only implement the color picker itself and replacing the old one
without modify other dialogs.

This issue will also not implement the 'Picked Colors' Button, this will be done
later.

Calc is not able to print a spreadsheet correct to a A3 page format. It doesn't
fit to A3, it is always to big. The Preview on the new Print Page is correct.
But not when I press the Preview Button or print the page, the contents don't
fit to the A3 page format.

I use the following settings:
Page style -> Page-> Papier format-> A3 Landscape
I fit the contents with Page Break Preview for one page
Print with P

There is no apparent way for a visually (color) handicapped individual to
determine the font color of existing text - as example in a document that is
circulated within a work group for review/revision.

Positioning the cursor within colored text does not show the existing color on
the 'color select palate'. 'Right Click' does not produce a 'Properties' option
that would identify all current format characteristics and thus confirm for a
user that the selected text is (for instance) "Orange2" or "Salmon".

There is no 'Current Color Palate" view which would also be useful. The ability
of an organization to create a custom, distributable palate would also address
some aspects of this issue in another way.

md->hi: The workaround you propose is not working (at least for me in 3.3 final)

md->all: This is a regression compared to OOo 3.2 release.

[sc-issues] [Issue 116833] Sheet linking malfunction after document saving

When creating a new spreadsheet with two sheets and linking fields from one
sheet into the other, the link reference isn't
working any longer when the document is saved and the link reference is moved.

Example:
Sheet 2: Add in A2 the number 1
Sheet 1: Link to Sheet2 A2, e.g. =Sheet2.A2
Sheet 2: Add a new line before A2 to move the entry from A2 to A3
Sheet 1: Check if the link reference is updated to =Sheet2.A3
Save the document exit
Open the document again
Sheet 1: Check if the link reference is still OK (=Sheet2.A3)
Sheet 2: Add a new line before A2 to move the entry from A3 to A4
Sheet 1: Check if the link reference is updated to =Sheet2.A4
Save the document and exit
Open the document again
Sheet 1: The Link reference is now broken and points to =Sheet2.A3 instead of
=Sheet2.A4

This happens for new documents as well as for existing documents.
Since we do rely on those links and on the version 3.2.0 do we need to have
this fixed.

If you have any questions or if you have trouble re-producing the issue, feel
free to contact me anytime.

@es: Regret to inform you that this bug is just as bad under v3.3. Loading my
copy of Sunshine6Bad.odt produces a very quick hang. Without Quickstarter, and
with Task Manager up, I see the splash screen, then the file (looking fine, and
that's new; 3.3 has some wonderful fixes), but the soffice.bin process still
sticks at 49 or 50% of CPU (1 full CPU on my dual-core box).

W/r/t printing, I have a local (non-networked) printer, which I use so rarely
that I don't usually load the software for it. Writer always shows the printer
on the Print dialog, and when I load the software, Writer prints just fine. If
you think it's useful, I'll play with this; I just can't imagine why Writer
would care about the printer only for this particular file.

If you can think of anything useful that I can contribute to the debugging,
please let me know. Otherwise, I guess it'll have to wait until I can run a
debugging build myself. I consider the bug serious, but not urgent.

I have noticed these crashes since I changed to the RC of OO3.3 and they stay
there in the final release. I can perfectly reproduce them every time:

- Writer new document
- Write some text like "En un llugar de"
- Mouse right click at end of line (to get contextual menu)
- CRASH

I was using the es_ES.oxt (3.2) for hyphenation. Today I tried the new
es_ANY.oxt (4.0) from
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/e-files/1639/1/es_ANY.oxt. The crash
affects both of them and as soon as I disable the extension the crash disappears
(as well as hyphenation; base installation only provides spelling in Spanish).

I have let the crash report sent a lot of times.

Create a dialog containing a Grid control.
The Row headers column is not resizeable. If a header is too long it will appear
truncated.

This is usability problem because row header texts have different size. The
programmer cannot always check that the width is correct if theere are many
headers, or if they are dynamically chosen, or if texts are translated in
various languages.
Also, the text length depends on the police used.

The next attachment contains a macro that show a dialog containing a Grid
control.
Columns can be resized by mouse.
If the mouse resizes to the right, the display of the grid is completely
changed.
