The x-axis should have labels taken from the sheet: These labels don't show when opened by OOo. Note that in ODF1.1: "10.10 Categories The element element represents the range of cell addresses that contains the captions for the categories contained in each series. The element may contain a table:cell-range-address that denotes the region from which the category labels are taken from. If this attribute or the element is omitted the application will evaluate the chart:data-source-has-labels attribute." ODF1.2CD5 has a similar text. (The file in question does not have a chart:data-source-has-labels attribute but with the presence of the chart:categories> element and its table:cell-range-address attribute it is not needed.) - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. OOo doe snot appear to create a control unless an implementation is specified. The file attached to this issue was created with OOo's scrollbar implementation name given (in the hope that OOo would use default settings). I was surprised to see OOo crash instead. To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=106237 User aguelzow changed the following: What|Old value |New value Keywords|needmoreinfo, oooqa |oooqa --- Additional comments from aguel...@openoffice.org Sat Oct 24 16:26:06 + 2009 --- The saved file contains: #NAME? I guess I was to hasty to say that "It should either preserve the old values, or not include values at all!" but what Openoffice is currently doing is not correct: OpenOffice clearly obtains #NAME? ie. an error value as the result of trying to attmpt this calculation. According to 4.5 of the ODF 1.2 draft: "In an OpenDocument document, if an error value is the result of a cell computation it shall be stored as if it was a string. That is, the office:value-type of an error value is string; if the computed value is stored, it is stored in the attribute office:string-value." So it is incorrect to use: office:value-type="date" office:date-value="1899-12-30". (It would be my perhaps incorrect interpretation that OOo could claim it was unable to perform any calculation, in that case I think it should store the old value.) So this might in fact be the same bug as issue #102958 which hasn't drawn any attention since I filed it last June. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=103460 --- Additional comments from aguel...@openoffice.org Fri Jul 10 21:38:56 + 2009 --- I would think that if calc can't read the replacement graphic then it should just render the chart itself (which it apparently can do but chooses not to do at this time.) So I would thin kthat this is a bug not just an enhancement since it does not depend on the ability to render svg graphics. PS. Note that ODF 1.2 committee draft 2 revision 1 even states: "Note: While the image data may have an arbitrary format, it is recommended that vector graphics are stored in the [SVG] format and bitmap graphics in the [PNG] format." So the provided format is in fact the preferred vector format. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. According to the current OpenFormula draft: In an OpenDocument document, if an error value is the result of a cell computation it shall be stored as if it was a string. That is, the office:value-type of an error value is string; if the computed value is stored, it is stored in the attribute office:string-value. Note that this does not change an error into a string type (since the error will be restored on recalculation); this simply enables applications which cannot recalculate values to display the error information. Currently in OOo, calculating FLOOR(-2.5) shows as an error but is saved with value-type float and value 0, causing other applications to display the calculated value incorrectly. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
