[framework-issues] [Issue 92509] moresome Persons loged in with single MS TS account and running OO.
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=92509 --- Additional comments from al...@openoffice.org Fri Jan 15 09:20:56 + 2010 --- Well there are some more things which are wrong in this issue. 1. OS is not only Windows 2003. You can reproduce this issue with any Windows version. (Tested with XP, 2000, and 2003) You just have create multiple sessions for the same user on the machine using remote desktop. 2. In my opinion this is no feature request but a SEVERE bug which prevents companies using ooo. In our case every fix will be already to late, since MS-Office deployment will start in 3 weeks. 3. Since this is a bug that makes using ooo impossible for many companies priority should be at least P2 (in my opinion even P1)! - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I just know, that yesterday our company decided not to switch to ooo and instead upgrade to the newest ms office version within the next two months. Everything was fine during evaluation of ooo until we got the problem with our terminal sessions. Even nobody really likes the new ms office (nasty ribbons take much space), we have no choice since we can not avoid using terminal server. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sc-issues] [Issue 85946] CSV import - auto-detect d elimiters
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=85946 --- Additional comments from al...@openoffice.org Fri Dec 11 11:28:23 + 2009 --- Some thoughts about this issue: Autodetect delimiters would be great. So when the import dialog opens, the detected delimiters should be already set. So all I have to do is clicking ok after I checked whether the autodetection was correct. Also there should be a commandline option to provide all necessary csv import options, so in this case no dialog would appear. The last part is very important for automating some processes in companies. I usually use multiple sessions on my terminalserver. It is impossible to predict on which session openoffice will open (if it opens). I think this is a problem almost every company has when using openoffice with terminalserver or other remotedesktop solutions. I think under windows you have to start openoffice by checking WTSGetActiveConsoleSessionId. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I'm aware, that the ooo project has far to few developers but you should be also aware that you discourage user reporting bugs when it takes over two years until a bugreport is even assigned. I know some people who also have problems with this issue but just are to lazy to make a bugreport / comment on this issue (some of them think that they report wouldn't change anything anyway - seems they were right). - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Why is it still "new"? The issue was created on 04.10._2007_ and still noting happened. Since the priority is set to P3 it should be fixed a long time ago already! Please fix this issue, many people need this to export valid charts and import them in other applications.
