He created a sample file, that I'll attach to this issue. Description: He created a odg-file with a hatching in the background and set the hatching to hatch 4. He choose a background color for this hatching and set it to 20% grey. The odg-file contains also some text in the foreground. If you export this file with OOo 3.2.1 to PDF you got the background color exported. If you do the same with OOo 3.3.0-rc8 and LibreOffice 3.3.0-rc2 the background color is not visible in the PDF-File. Then start the slide-show mode and call the content menu. The displayed slide becomes invisible (black screen) and only the content menu is visible. Depending on the system status it can also lead to a situation, where the slide was resized and only shown in a part of the screen and you see a white band at the bottom of the screen. This white band is displayed in the full width of the screen. I tested this issue on the same box with KDE and Gnome. I get this issue only with KDE 4.3.5. Every thing works as expected on Gnome.
