Confirmed with iMac G5 running Mac OS X.4.11, OOo 3.1 PPC fr.
Also agree that it is not a duplicate of 101032 because no way of exporting to
pdf works.

@ssa : the jre is not detected at initial launch. Two jres appear (1.4.2_16 and
1.5.0_13) on the list and
none is checked. I had to check the most recent one, relaunch OOo, but that
doesn't solve the issue.

Hi Alex,
now running OOo 2.3.0 / Mac OS X.4.11 on a PPC / postgresql 7.4.3 / jdbc driver
pg74.216.jdbc3.jar.

No more crashes when inserting data in a table :-) So it seems something has
changed wether in the OS
or in OOo.

Same behavior than you concerning the primary key.

Hello,
here's the problem :

OOo 2.3.0_fr X11, Mac OS X.4.10, iMac G5 PPC

Seems to be a PPC only issue, not reproductable with
OOo 2.3.0_de X11, Mac OS X 10.4.10, Mac Mini Intel CoreDuo

- download the sun Report Builder extension
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/reportdesign

- install it with Tools Extension Manager

- the extension is installed under MyExtensions with version number 1.0.0

- as the current version is supposed to be 1.0.1, click the update button

- the Extension Update window proposes a 1.0.1 update

- click Install button

- the downloading and installing window opens, the progress bar is
almost complete

- Error window :
Extension manager :error reading data from internet
Server error message : 400 Bad request

- only able to cancel update

- the extension remains indicated as 1.0.0 version in the extensions manager.

This is an issue concerning the use of a .odb file as datasource for a form,
instead of a OOo referenced
datasource.

Step by step :
- create a new writer document
- add a form to the document
- set the form properties (data tab) :
datasource : select a .odb file (NOT a OOo datasource)
content type : table
content : select a table from the selected .odb file
- save the document
- close the document
- open the document : the reference to the .odb file is lost.

This problem does not occur with OOo 2.0.3.

Tested with OOo 2.1 / Mac OS X.4.8 PPC

This problem has been tested under OOo 2.0.4_fr / Mac OS X.4.8 PPC / Win XP :

In form edit mode, assign a macro to a form or a form control with the
Properties Events tab.
Validate
Delete the assignation with the Properties Events tab
Validate
The macro is still assigned to the event.

The only option I found to un-assign is to delete the form or form control to
which the macro has been
assigned.

Running OOo 2.0.4_fr on Mac OS X.4.8 PPC, X11 preferences set to Use system
keyboard disposition,

When using OOoBasic editor or Calc, the CMD modifier key is not recognised.
Trying to use the CMD key for shortcuts inserts a caracter at the insertion
point instead of executing the
function.
Exemple : CMD + s will insert a 's' instead of saving the document. CMD + c
will insert a 'c' instead of
copying (well, in some circumstances, it will insert a c and copy)

Has not been confirmed yet under Mac OS Intel.
This problem did not occured with OOo 2.0.3 and same system settings.

Infos : Mac OS X.4.7 PPC (iMac G5) / OOo 2.0.3 / postgresql 7.4.3 / jdbc driver
pg74.216.jdbc3.jar

Step by step :

- create a new Base document connected to a postgresql database with JDBC
- Thru Tools SQL ..., execute the following statement :
CREATE TABLE adresses (
 id serial primary key,
 name varchar(80)
);
- View update Tables to make the table appear in the base document (not sure
of the english menu
labels, I'm using a French version)
- double-click the table to input data
- type a string in the 'name' field
- here's the issue : when you try to effectively update the table, wether by
the 'save' button or by
moving to next field, OOo crashes.
- if you re-open the base document (which calls a repair procedure), the record
has been stored into
the table

comment : I saw some issues concerning serial fields in postgresql and OOo, but
none mentioned a
crash of OOo

it seems there's the same issue with an hsqldb database in standalone mode,
connected thru jdbc (hsqldb 1.8.0 / OOo 2.0.3 fr / Win XP Home SP2).
Didn't test the workaround yet.

Description :
When working with a Base document, the 'windows' menu doesn't show all open
windows

Step by step :
- open or create a Base document (myDocument.odb)
- the 'windows' menu displays the document window (myDocument - OpenOffice.org
base)
- open a new Base window by double-clicking on a Table, a Form or a Query.
- now, there are two open windows but the 'windows' menu only displays the main
Base window.

Screen Captures
http://perso.orange.fr/numa/docs/test1.tiff is a screen capture made under OOo
2.0.3rc5 that shows
the problem.
http://perso.orange.fr/numa/docs/test2.tiff is a screen capture made under OOo
2.0.1 stable that
shows a correct handling of the opened windows

Platform/version :
this defect has been reproduced with OOo 2.0.3rc5, French version, under MacOS
X.3.9, MacOS X.4.6,
Mandriva 2006
