To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=116470 --- Additional comments from b_michael...@openoffice.org Sat Jan 15 20:48:38 + 2011 --- Hmm: "/sw/bin/cp: option `--preserve' doesn't allow an argument Try `/sw/bin/cp --help' for more information." This suggests that the the GNUCOPY variable has been set to /sw/bin/cp, while that is not a recent version of GNU cp (or not a version of GNU cp at all, but a BSD or some other variant). @maho: Could you provide the output of "/sw/bin/cp --version"? As a quick workaround you can unset the GNUCOPY in the environment/the *.Set.sh-file generated by ./configure, in which case the new build system will fall back to POSIX cp and touch in a safe way. IIRC, the old build system will simply fall back to whatever cp is in the path (but it still might try to use non-POSIX features with it and thus fail). Another workaround would be to provide a recent version of GNU cp -- that will make certain, that both build system will be able to use it. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The error message suggest that you are in the directory "/home/maho/DEV300_m96.2/DEV300_m96" (after resolving symlinks) while the build system assumes the sourcetree in the directory "/home/maho/DEV300_m96" (derived from the $SOLARSRC/SRC_ROOT variable set in your environment or Linux*Env.Set.sh), causing the build system to bail out. @maho: Is either of the directories a symlink to the other? If /home/maho/DEV300_m96 would be a symlink to /home/maho/DEV300_m96.2/DEV300_m96 I guess that would explain the root cause as it would be a comparison of a resolved vs. a unresolved symlink. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Also note that using precompiled headers on gcc is still very, very fragile and badly needs better documentation. Also note that you will need to make precompiled headers work together with dependency generation: You will want gcc to emit dependencies excluding the precompiled header and everything that was just pulled in because of the pch. Otherwise you would need to generate deps in a second additional step either with gcc or makedepend and that will likely have a lot more negative impact than the advantage of using pch with gcc. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [porting-issues] [Issue 116225] DEV300_m96: broken at too ls
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=116225 User b_michaelsen changed the following: What|Old value |New value Assigned to|mh|b_michaelsen --- Additional comments from b_michael...@openoffice.org Sat Dec 25 23:43:02 + 2010 --- In tools it is expected that you have the basegfx library delivered in the solver as the basegfx module is named as a dependency in the build.lst of tools. If you did a build --all before this is a bug in build.pl, because it should resolve the dependencies correctly. If you did not call a build --all, it is expected to break, just like when you call to "build" (without --all) in tools did before. So did you call "build --all" before to get all dependencies? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I figured that out too yesterday, but did not want to reply to myself. The problem seems to be that the TerminateListener: - calls disposing, which is mutex-protected (good) and then calls terminate without mutexprotection (bad) - it does not call join after calling terminate - in addition, it seems Windows might need special care as per: http://svn.services.openoffice.org/opengrok/xref/Current%20%28trunk%29/sal/qa/osl/process/osl_Thread.cxx#termAndJoinThread - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Proposed fix: add another if(m_ServiceFactory.is()) before trying to setup the guard for the lock. There still will be a race condition between this check and having the lock, but how should that be avoided when locks and mutexes are already unavailable at this point? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [tools-issues] [Issue 113866] EIS should have a target for cws (or at least it should be posssible to retarget all issues of a cws at once)
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=113866 User b_michaelsen changed the following: What|Old value |New value Summary|EIS should have a target f|EIS should have a target f |or cws|or cws (or at least it sho | |uld be posssible to retarg | |et all issues of a cws at | |once) --- Additional comments from b_michael...@openoffice.org Mon Dec 6 15:17:11 + 2010 --- @fs: IMHO there is little worth in targets of issues that have not been started yet, as the environment is way to volatile to draw any conclusion from that. I see your point about targets being the wrong field to investigate for issues after integration. So this is more or less about the relative short timeframe between "started" and "resolved". Once an issue is started it will belong to one cws or another and all will be integrated with all other issues in that cws. Thus is target of the issue is the 'shortest' of all issues of the cws, and will be changed either for no or for all issues on a cws. Thus is should at least be possible to retarget all issues on a cws in one step. Updated summary accordingly. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
