in a spreadsheet I have two tabpages.
in page one I have e.g. field "=$Blad1.$CN$1" (=$Page1.$CN$1?)
if i fill in there MORE THAN ONE LINE of data,
  (i entered two lines:
line one "baker" hard return, line two "Jim".
On the screen the field is two lines high and I see
"baker
 Jim"
   in the field.

If I want to make a link in another cell, to the cell =$Blad1.$CN$1
ONLY the SECOND line "Jim" gets visable. NOT BOTH LINES.

It should be normal that that the full contence will be visable in the
cell with the link.
so that in the cell with the link comes also
"Baker
 Jim"
and that automatically the row will become two lines high.

calc 2.2.1
using calc
opening an existing sheet, in which are formules working, it works.

opening a NEW EMPTY sheet, i can program A1+B1=C1 but is DOES NOT WORK.
I tried to search where i can switch this ON, but I could not find it.
I do not now if it is a BUG or a MISTAKE or MISUNDERSTANDING from me.
BUT I can also find no place where to correct it.
I will try to ad one sheet that is working and one sheet that is not working.
My email = [EMAIL PROTECTED]

hoping for reply

thanks in advantage

maps in a netwerk
when i have installed OO 2.0 on some machines, and I change to OO 2.2 e.g.
ALL THE LINKS DO NOT WORK ANYMORE!!!

That is NOT nice, for every user i have to change the links etc etc.

Suggestion:
make that OO is normally installed in the map OpenOffice, without the version
number.
suggestion two: for TEST versions, I know it is handy to have the version
number in the mapname. Make an extra option, so that, while installing, it is
possible to mark that I want to have the maps with the versionnr behind.
But standard WITHOUT. SO if someone UPGRADES from 2.0 to 2.2 etc, ALL THE LINKS
STILL WILL WORK!!
