Using OOo v3.1 RC:
If you write words in English then switch to Arabic and write only numerals,
then switch back to English and write words, you will find that the numeral you
entered are Arabic and not Indian.
In order for context to work correctly, the numbers have to be proceeded by
words from the same context.

BelowSky - fme. Again your are right and I DID try to set the CTL language to
Arabic (Saudi Arabia). And I know that I should set CTL language to Arabic here
but that DIDN'T make a correct PDF either and I mean by correct is to make an
EXACT copy of the doc to the PDF :)
Again mr. fme, changing the CTL language to Arabic (Saudi Arabia or Egypt or
Lebanon or whatever Arab country) will not make the PDF as Precise as it should
be. You have to note that ALL virtual PDF printers CAN DO a Precise PDF of any
Arabic doc.
Thanks for your help.

Guys The problem here is the PDF Export function.
hdu, you are right that the top right window in the sample image is not
correct. But, as I said, I was foucsing on how OOo export PDF instead of how
correct is the document. B.S. I was about to report a problem regarding Arabic
in OOo that heappen when I use justified text. And from my experince, SOME
TIMES TEXT APPEARS WRONG LIKE THE TOP RIGHT WINDOW AND SOME TIMES IT RENDERS
CORRECTLY JUST LIKE cloph. It depends on how it was written (by copy and
paste or by writing normally).
fme, Thats how I do it usually.
BTW, I use WinXP.

I forgot to point that pdfFactory PDF Printer did create the PDF very will
unlike OOo Export to PDF function.
B.S. I tried other PDF printers (like Jaws PDF Creator) and they created the
PDF just like it should be.

Can you at least for now add this feature:
Making Hindi numerals to use CTL font formating just like how micro$oft did in
there Office.
I think you know that Hindi numerals are used only by CTL languages. This will
really solve some of problems regarding the formating of Arabic text.

When I export an ARABIC doc to PDF, the resulting PDF will look different than
the doc and particularly when I use justified text.

I have made two PDFs; the first one is exported using OOo Export function. and
the second one is by using a virtual PDF printer (pdfFactory).

Think you so much people you are kings...
But I have one very lettel thing to add; the format of those context numerals.
I mean things like the font name used.
Hindi numerals should take the formating used in Arabic words. And Arabic
numerals should take the formating used in English words.
Example:
In the same document, suppose that I have choosed the font to be used with
English text to be Tahoma while Arabic text is using Arial. The resulting
numerals formatting should be:
Tahoma for Arabic numerals.
Arial for Hindi numerals.

Sir, that option is for listing only... (correct me if I am wrong).
What I am talking about is a feature that cover ANY numerals (not just the
numbered listing) in any doc. Besides that, it check (wisly) the context of
writing.

I will give you another example:
Now, I am writing an Arabic document and I'm using Hindi numerals with it. When
I open OOo documentation, I see the Hindi numerals used in the documentaion
instead of the Arabic numerals.

Context (or Native) should be put alongside (Arabic, Hindi and System) because
it should be there and its needed to be there.
I allways write docs in booth languages (Arabic and English). in the same
document. so please, sir, I need this feature.

Could you please add numerals based on context feature to OOo. This feature
does exist in M$ Office. Not sure about this but I think it was also in OOo v1.x

For example, on a single document, I want the following:
I want that when I write (letters and words of course) in English language, the
numerals used will be Arabic. And when I write in Arabic language, the numerals
used will be Hindi. All in the SAME document

By the way, numerals used in Arabic language are Hindi numerals.

B.S. Let me know if I wasn't clear.

When I export an OpenOffice document writen in Arabic to PDF format, I only get
an EMPTY PDF file.
I get that problem whenever I use SOME sort of Arabic fonts (I included one of
them in the zipped sample file) and I dont know there type.

The BIGGEST problem is... These fonts are the only and the best Arabic fonts I
have ever seen and I can't afford lose there support in the PDFs exported with
OpenOffice.

Finally, Thanks for the awesome software...
