Sorry, but it doesn't work for me with OO 2.4 on Xp and on Vista. Not for the
given websites, not for other ones. I tried http://www.gentoo.org and notice
that he doesn't copy the full path to the photo and displays only an empty box
with the name of the picture (gentoologo) with path /images/icon-penguin.png.
I use Internet Explorer.

Same problem in version 2.4. But I need to add additional information. If you
want to regenerate this problem, it's not enough to add outline numbering.
First you need to assign also heading styles to the titles. Outline numbering
prints fine with default style. But not with the heading styles.

In Visio I click edit and select copy drawing. After that, I paste it in
Writer. I save the writer document as .doc and opens it again in word. The
Visio image is not displayed and seems lost. In Writer you can see the image
fine. See attachment for an example. In writer fine, in word no Visio.

I've something simular. If I have a table with merged cells and more then one
column where I want the text vertical centred. This works perfect as long the
table is on one page. But as soon he split over another page, and I insert
text or change someting in the last column, the text in the other cell is not
centred anymore. To have it again centred, I need to align it first on top and
then back centred.

How to generate?

Make a document with outline numbering in the headings like

1 Eerste titel
Bla blabla blabla blabla blabla blabla blabla blabla blabla blabla blabla
1.1 Subtitel
Blabla blabla blabla blabla blabla blabla blabla blabla blabla blabla blabla
2 Nieuwe titel
Test blabla blabla blabla blabla blabla blabla blabla blabla
2.1 subtitle
2.2 subtitle new
If you select now manualy some text from beginning to 2.1 and check selection
in the print box under print range, the titles are printed without the numbers.
If you select pages and specify pages or you print all, then the numbers are
printed well.

Numbers should always printed!

Hey, I would like to have a function in Calc, that even Excell doesn't have (an
extra motivation for users to use Calc btw).
Calc have the count and countA function, but this counts all the records. Some
users here should find it usefull if there's also a count function that counts
the visible lines.
When you use a filter, soms rows are hidden. With the new count function, it's
possible to count the visible records.
In Excel you can write VBA code for it. Maybe you can do that also with the OO
Basic. But it's more interesting if this is one of the default functions in
Calc.

When I select text from a webpage (that use styles) and paste this in writer,
the fonts are replaced by the default OO font. In MS Word, this works perfect.
As example to reproduce it, go to http://www.post.be/site/nl/packages/index.html

Copy a litle bit text starting from Pakjes. If you paste this in Word you see
for the title pakjes the font Verdana with a size of 10.5 and 7,5 for the other
text
If you paste this in Writer, everything have the same size and font (not
Verdana).

Can this issue reopened, or do I need to create a new one? I have the same
problem. A new document (with only the word test in) created in word 2003
(and saved with a preview thumb) opens fine on BlackBerry. A doc created by
OpenOffice 2.2 or 2.3 gives: unrecognized document format.

I've tested this on a XP, Windows 2000 and Vista machine with Outlook 2003
installed. The problem only occurs on XP and W2K. It happens with OO 2.2 and
2.3.1.

How to simulate it? Open Calc or Writer, makes a document with a little bit
text in and click on the icon 'Document as email' to send it by email. A new
Outlook email window is poping up with the document attached. Move now the
mail window and you see that the text behind (in Writer or Calc) is white
and/or not refreshing. See print screen as attachement.

Please reopen this ticket/issue. It's not solved in OO 2.2 and 2.3!!! I've a
MS Word document with a table across more pages. It's nice in Word, but in
Writer (even with row to break across pages be enabled), I see only a part of
the table, all the rest is hidden on the end of a page. Same behaviour as
described in this issue.

I found that this is a issue with displaying icons / graphics.

When you want to change the icon and browse p.ex to
C:\WINNT\Installer\{90110409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9}\xlicons.exe on a
WIN2000 pc, you see all the icons.
If you do the same on a XP for C:\WINDOWS\Installer\{90110409-6000-11D3-8CFE-
0150048383C9}\xlicons.exe, you see only a few of the icons in this file.

Can someone give me more information so that I can find a workarround?

This have nothing to do with the file association. It also happens when you
deselect this during setup. I also notice that this problem appears only on
WinXP (SP1 and SP2), not on Win2000.
Any idea if there's a workarround?

Save as, saves the file back to the webdav under XP. I have local admin rights
and can also save under a temporary folder in NT. But forgot that read only
thing. If I create a new file and wants to save it to webdav, it also doens't
work on NT for OO. Copy the file and paste it within windows explorer is ok.
Under Xp I can also map a drive letter to the webdav share. Under NT this is
not possible.

Yes I tested if OO writes to the webdav server when you click save. It does
(on XP). But on Win2K2 I can't save.

But why is there no problem if I use OpenOffice on a windows XP PC? In that
case I don't have a MSOffice dialog workarround. It's working fine with the
windows file dialogbox in OpenOffice. Only on Win2000 there's a problem.

When I opens a odt or ods file from a webdav share, it opens as read only.
When I want to edit it, the program is asking to create a copy.
When I create a new document and want to save it to the webdav share, it fails
also. This happens only on WIN2000 (maybe on NT also). On a XP workstation
it's working fine. It works also if I use the openoffice dialogs instead of
the windows open/save dialogs. There are no problems when I want to open
a .doc file in MS Office. Because we are going to migrate 1000 users from MS
Office to OpenOffice, it's important that the dialogs and windows are min or
less the same.
Is this issue maybe solved in the next release?

I found out when you selecting text and images on a webpage where the
tag contains the full path
(http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/5/59/Current_event_marker.s
vg/50px-Current_event_marker.svg.png), the image is copied successful in
writer. But is it's a relative source like (./images/picture.png), then it's
not working. This is maybe normal because Writer doesn't know where to look
for the image. BUT why the hell, is microsoft office knowing that well? And
if I copy only a picture on the net without selecting text, it's also working
fine.
Any idea or workaround?
