Our users can no longer write shared files on our filesystem that can be written by other applications including OOorg 2.x. The bug #31890 describes a similar problem. BTW there is no patch in Bug #3406 as the former poster indicated. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. OOorg does not write such an element. It would be useful to find out the (primary) language of a document. My report is not valid only for writer but for all components. The version is 2.3.1. Problem: The scripts ooffice and soffice always forks into a background process. Request: There should be a way to start OOorg in the foreground. Rationale: KDE provides a useful tool 'kioexec' which does work only with programs that do not go into background when started.
