This is core functionality that doesn't work with the premiere commercial database in the world. A problem of this magnitude should have been a show-stopper for the release of 2.0. We are now up to 2.0.3 and it still hasn't been addressed. What is going on? Is there some major problem preventing the fix? Is there some option in the oracle odbc driver that can be enabled/disabled in order to make it work? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sc-issues] [Issue 17091] Add Center Across Selecti on feature to spreadsheet
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=17091 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri May 5 07:17:59 -0700 2006 --- Merging cells is NOT the same as center across selection. It is not at all compatible with Excel's "center across selection". What's worse if you edit a spreadsheet with Calc that someone else created with Excel and it contains "center across selection" formatting, Calc will change it to "merge cells". When the creator tries to open the spreadsheet again in Excel, Calc has screwed up the formatting! This is not what anyone would call compatibility. I would request this bug be reopened and the feature added. Yeah, it's that important, if you want to be compatible with Excel that is. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
