If I compress/expand the OPENOFFICE.ORG WRITER submenu, it goes away, but I can make it come back again by following the same process. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [framework-issues] [Issue 88236] Allow for background image , instead of just background color.

Compare with MS Office2007 applications, which have a cool blue gloss-like wallpaper behind each document. I don't think a feature such as this would be too difficult to implement, and what a change it'd make! Thanks! - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sw-issues] [Issue 81211] Make a NEXT STYLE key sh ortcut.

I've a handful of paragraph styles and set them up in a particularly useful order for writing out scripts, but sometimes need to skip a style or two in the order. It would be much quicker if I could just press, I don't know, ALT+N or something to keep the cursor at its current point but switch to the next style in order. If this has been mentioned, I'm terribly sorry as I have spent time searching for like suggestions, and if this is already available in OOo, I'd love to learn how to do it. Google wasn't help at all. [sc-issues] [Issue 75973] Text in merged cells previ ews incorrectly
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=75973 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Apr 1 16:32:29 + 2007 --- Carlos, if you open the Issue 75973.ods file that I attached. Just open it, and note the last words on the lines are word, not, around, and then example. Simply clicking on Page preview you will see that the text is shifted, and then the last words are now on, then, this, and then example. The text was shifted. I'm sorry if I didn't explain it more clearly. I just opened the file above again to verify, and it is doing it on OOo 2.2.0. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sc-issues] [Issue 75973] Text in merged cells previ ews incorrectly
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=75973 Issue #|75973 Summary|Text in merged cells previews incorrectly Component|Spreadsheet Version|OOo 2.2 RC4 Platform|PC URL| OS/Version|Windows XP Status|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard| Keywords| Resolution| Issue type|DEFECT Priority|P3 Subcomponent|viewing Assigned to|spreadsheet Reported by|crazyfresh --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Mar 31 22:12:46 + 2007 --- To illustrate, in a default document, create a 4x5 merged cell, and fill with legible text (not just all the same character, I'll say why), until there isn't room for one more line, and enable text wrapping, and make it grey-background (or some other color). Also, make the text vertically-aligned. Now there will most likely be a discrepancy between what you see in the cell there and what it looks like when you click page preview. It seems as though when previewing, all text gets compressed, or shoved left (like the page preview reduces tracking/kerning somehow). Sometimes for me it even frees up another line. If it looks right, try lowering the font size or entering different text. The way I check is I read the last word on each line, and see if it matches with the preview, and it hardly ever does (usually 1 or 2 words off). I had no trouble recreating this issue 6+ times while writing this. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
