no, since the wild charactor looks like the same as Chinese words to you I
think, but they are not Chinese word, if you look the japanese version picture,
you will see some rectangles in place which is wild charactors in Chinese, so
CJK version are all have this problem, BTW, I test it in StarOffice 7 pp4, it
has no such problem, let me make an example in English to illustrate this, the
item like Open Document Text (*.odt) is erronously presented as Open
Document (*.odt), Text is becoming wild char, I will
upload a new
picture point out which charactors are wild chars.

I uploaded a picture indicates which are wild chars, the small rectangles

BTW, the large rectangle indicate that in CJK version, the dialog of Open/Save
is not fully translated. there are still some German.

in attached .sxw file, list numbering in catalog is correct but wrong in main
content, f.g. it should be
1.
1.1
1.2
...
2
2.1
2.2
...

but it is
1.
2.
3.
4.
...

open this document in StarOffice 7 you will see the right numbering format.

see attached test file, when I want to use format paintbrush to change the
second line format using the first line format, it does not work, neither the
font or the size/colour, but it can work for the third line.
the reverse operation ( apply the second line format to the first line ) is OK.
