Issue Solved by Education Project Team, lead by Eric Bachard.
I tested it and it works perfectly in OOo4Kids1.0 even with stacked fractions
formulas containing exponents.

dmaths Team seems to have tested it too.

Code portions ready for backport in OpenOffice.org
Concerned devs just have to contact Eric Bachard on educ or dev-educ lists.

REM : Others ergonomic functionnalities have been created in OOoMath in
OOo4Kids1.0. Their codes will be soon ready for backport.

I don't believe it's realy a showstopper because it is neither a severe bug nor
a regression, and many others issues are more urgent.

But if you can solve the problem for 3.4 it will be a good thing.

In the OOo3.2.0 code, Formula above (which was a Calc one)
and Formula under (which was a Math one) have been swapped.

Now, the first Formula is Math and the second Formula is Calc.

It was not a very good idea to permute them.
Now we should rewrite all the documentation/howtos about this subject

May be would it be possible to swap them again for the next version,
it would avoid us to rewrite documentation. :-)

In fact, Four issues seem to concern the same subject.

They are issues 49970 ; 84814 ; 100464 ; 106681
The total of votes diluted in these issues is near 50 .

It shows the importance of these issues for maths teachers.

In www.educoo.org educational meetings, many mathematics teachers told us they
needed two additional symbols in formulas

First is the widearc symbol over two or more letters

Second is the arrow with a heel, used in the expression
 x |--- f(x)

For the moment, two temporary solutions have been found
- creating a draw object imitating these symbols
- installing Ams TeX fonts (for one or two symbol only...)

Would it be possible to integrate those two symbols directly in OpenSymbol
font, for example in unused areas to make them directly usable in OOoMath ?

When we create xy diagrams in OOoCalc, graduations are around a box.
In most of their works, teachers and students need graduations to be placed near
the axes (Ox) and (Oy)
Excel and gnumeric have allready implemented this functionality.
In the same file, graduations are near axes when open with excel or gnumeric,
and around a box when open with OOoCalc.

This is important for the possibility to use OOoCalc in building officials exams
documents in France.
We find urgent to implement this functionality of graduation near (Ox) and (Oy)
axes.

This issue concerns MSO compatibility too because it makes nearly impossible to
re-use ppt files to improve them in OpenDocument Format;
I add that many teachers who want to build exercices files for their students
need this functionality.

In OOoDraw, we can use connectors to build organigrams.
Before OOo20, we were able to find them from OOoWriter too
by customizing drawing tools bar (adding others buttons).
In OOo23 it isn't possible anymore.
Is it a bug or was it done on purpose ?

We find useful for users (for example dsciences project)
this feature to be setup again in OOoWriter.

thanks
Fred Juan DIAZ

When a cell is formatted as complex number, full precision is always displayed
without being able to set up the number of decimales we want to be shown.

In the interactions options associated to an image, I don't see any option
allowing to go to previous page with the meaning of page we came from. This
would be useful for presentations containings many conditional jumps between
pages. So I'm obliged to write a macro each time, because previous page only
jumps from page (n) to page (n-1)
