The added document contains a cell with much text. If the text is expanded
beyond the page limit a number of things go wrong:

1. The text disappears under the footer
2. OO gets into a loop and never returns. The number of pages keeps getting
higher until the memory is consumed.

This document is a document that is made in MS-Word and converted. I think that
it is a problem with the import of the document.

The document is imported from Word and contains many tables. When text is added
in a cell and this cell gets a page overflow, then OO gets into a loop and finds
thousands pages, while the actual document is only 5 pages long.

If I assign a pyuno macro to the save or save-as buttons, this leads to a crash
on OpenOffice 3.0.1. If the same macro is assigned to these buttons in
OpenOffice 2.4 it works correctly.

I have a spreadsheet (.xls) that is issued by an official bureau that can be
opened in OO 2.3, and can be saved to an .ods format. However, when I open the
.ods later, it crashes OO.

When I try to open the same document in OO 1.1.4 it crashes immediately.

I can send you the spreadsheet involved. Please contact me on [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Import of an MS-Word document produces weird results. Document can be sent to
you if you decide to pursue this matter. Probably a special situation in the
.doc document.

Install under Windows XP Dutch version 1.1.4 crashes directly. After
circumventing the setup.exe and starting soffice.exe, it does install, but after
that, when I try to run soffice.exe from the menu, it crashes again. Even when I
try to run it directly from the directory, I get the same error:

Message is:

Fout bij openen van documentfile:///C:/Program%
20Files/OpenOffice.org1.1.4/program/Files/OpenOffice.org1.1.4/program/soffice
.exe:
C:\Program
Files\OPpenOffice.org1.1.4\program\Files\OpenOffice.org1.1.4\program\soffice.e
xe bestaat niet

Translated in English this means that it can't find the program soffice.exe in
the directory. However, the program is definitely there

I am sorry to have bothered you. It proved to be an issue with Windows XP
itself and backup software. After fiddling around with some backup software
(PowerQuest DataKeeper 5.0) making a new backup everything worked.
