[graphics-issues] [Issue 72931] duplicate of master slides should be possible.
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=72931 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Mar 4 20:06:33 + 2008 --- For a simple presentation that has a title slide different from the rest, a second master slide ist required. That is probably a use case appearing fro most(!) of the users of Impress. The lack, therefore, of a function to at least make a copy of a master slide is essential -- especially in the light that the whole master slide concept in Impress is -- compared to all the excellent template mechanism in Writer -- is really very hard to use and practically a show-stopper (unless one is willing to learn about all current inconsistencies and their workarounds). What I want to suggest is to move the target to 3.0 for making a simple copy master slide button available; as a workaround until the master slide concept gets fundementally fixed. (screenshot 1) 2) Then, edit the field by double-clicking on it. (screenshot 2) 3) When closing the edit window, you get zeros instead of the updated value. (screenshot 3) This is a crucial feature when defining letter templates (that should have, e.g., the same subject line on each page) and should be treated on higher priority I think. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. To be able to design, e.g. letter templates that take all user data into account this feature is needed as URLs are an important part of an address these days. Thanks for considerung that small change. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
