When I try to open any MS WORD 2007 document (docx) I get a message saying the
file is corrupt and I am given the option to have it repaired. Entering "no"
gets you into an endless loop of reissueing the question, while answering "Yes"
produces a meaningless message "Error reading file". 

This behaviour is true for each and every docx file and all of these files open
nicely in native Word.
