I send the document to a friend, which opens it with Oo.o on windows, modifies it and saves without touching anything about printing. Then he sends back the document to me. When I open the document again it has lost the printer properties I had set. I consider these properties should be kept across platforms. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sw-issues] [Issue 108705] slow printing of multiple copies
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=108705 User donpaolo changed the following: What|Old value |New value Status|CLOSED|REOPENED Resolution|WORKSFORME| --- Additional comments from donpa...@openoffice.org Sat Apr 17 13:54:23 + 2010 --- Well, I tried to print the booklet without collating the copies, but on the 2nd side of the sheet I get the 1st. In other words, if you select 10 copies without selecting collate, Oo.o prints 10 times the 1st page and 10 times the second, printing on both sides of the sheet, and you don't get the booklet, but 5+5 sheets with the same printing on both sides. So the bug exists. Oo.o should print both sides on every sheet even if you don't select collate. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The odt size is 1.2MB If I print 100 copies of it with one print command, Oo.o actually calculates 100 times the print file it sends the printer. This results in a very long time in order to get the printing, and in a big crunch of cpu time being used. I think that multiple copies printings should be worked calculating only once the printing file, and sending it the printer with the appropriate command to print it the specified number of times. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. When I open it with Oo.o, Oo.o presents me the ASCII filter options, the same way as it were opening a text only file. However, it is obvious that those options have no meaning in case of a null document, so I consider that Oo.o should not present those options in such a case. [sc-issues] [Issue 73036] Autoinput preferes capital ization instead of choosen lower letters in Ca lc
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=73036 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Aug 9 21:30:29 + 2007 --- The issue is still present in 2.2.1 (debian unstable). I consider it cannot be closed, because switching on/off the feature is invisible to the normal user. Nobody could think of looking for such a option in a 3rd-level submenu!!! I personally lasted 1 year thinking it was a bug, and not a feature, because I was looking for something related in the options and couldn't find nothing. Please open the bug again. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
