It shouldn't be the case that I have to change the option every time I turn on bullets. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sw-issues] [Issue 60553] New - Default bullet size too large!
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=60553 Issue #:|60553 Summary:|Default bullet size too large! Component:|Word processor Version:|OOo 2.0.1 Platform:|All URL:| OS/Version:|All Status:|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard:| Keywords:| Resolution:| Issue type:|ENHANCEMENT Priority:|P3 Subcomponent:|formatting Assigned to:|mru Reported by:|ericding --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Jan 14 14:32:36 -0800 2006 --- I note that in issue 21829, a larger default bullet size was requested; this was good, since the default bullet was far too small. But in my opinion, the switch to the larger bullet (U+25CF of OpenSymbol is dramatic -- that one's far too big, and looks insanely large next to real text (see attachment); it even alters line spacing significantly when used as a normal character! U+25CB (hollow circle), like U+25CF in Microsoft's Arial or Times New Roman, is of a more appropriate size; can U+25CF be reduced to match it? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sc-issues] [Issue 57790] Excel import: numbers are all wrong in imported file
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=57790 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Nov 14 21:24:33 -0800 2005 --- Thanks -- your suggestion to add -fno-strict-aliasing did the trick. Will you consider adding this somehow to the appropriate makefiles, or should I perhaps open a bug with Gentoo to invite them to make sure this flag is used in builds of OO.o from source? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The original file was exported from QuickBooks; I've then opened it in Excel to clean up names for submitting the file to the bug database. Opening in Excel (or even in OO.o 1.1.x!) will show you what the numbers ought to look like. [sw-issues] [Issue 55880] New - PDF export shows bro ken pair kerning in some fonts
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=55880 Issue #:|55880 Summary:|PDF export shows broken pair kerning in some fonts Component:|Word processor Version:|OOO 2.0 Beta2 Platform:|PC URL:| OS/Version:|Linux Status:|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard:| Keywords:| Resolution:| Issue type:|DEFECT Priority:|P3 Subcomponent:|save-export Assigned to:|mru Reported by:|ericding --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Oct 12 17:44:38 -0700 2005 --- This seems to be a bug in PDF Export, but it could be a bug elsewhere. If I have a font with pair kerning data that OOo doesn't get along well with (in my case, it's Arial Italic), text shows up in exported PDF's as if pair kerning was turned on, even when it's not. To reproduce this issue, create a document with the word commitment in Arial Italic (I'm doing this on a Gentoo Linux box with MS corefonts installed). Copy and paste, and for the second instance, turn on pair kerning under Format-Character. If you print out the document to Postscript file, the two instances look different (the kerned version is poorly laid out, but the version w/o pair kerning looks ok). If you export to PDF however, they look the same -- both look like the kerned version of the PS file. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
