As Letter is hardly used outside the United States, this should be changed to A4, at least when the choice of language etc. indicates that the user is non- American. The result of this error is that, unless I active reformats the file, I will get an error when trying to print it, as my printer does not contain any Letter paper. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sc-issues] [Issue 101401] Formatting numbers
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=101401 Issue #|101401 Summary|Formatting numbers Component|Spreadsheet Version|1.0.0 Platform|All URL| OS/Version|Windows Vista Status|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard| Keywords| Resolution| Issue type|DEFECT Priority|P3 Subcomponent|formatting Assigned to|spreadsheet Reported by|erik_skogen --- Additional comments from erik_sko...@openoffice.org Tue Apr 28 09:21:50 + 2009 --- Norwegian postal codes (Zip-codes) are four digit, with up to three leading zeroes. I formatted this with 000#, and saved it to the .ods file. Everything was fine until I closed the file. When reopening I found that my formatting was reversed, and thus all leading zeroes were gone. I suggest the introduction of a Fixed length formatting, as this will also take care of other issues I can think of. The Imp inside the software that audits formatting on file-close should be removed. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
