I only have OOo 3.2.0 so maybe - just maybe - my prob is fixed in 3.2.1. When
is
it released?

The front page of my example is not pertinent to the problem I reported.

Opening either of your examples in OOo 3.2.0 what I assume is the footer
appears
for a while then disappears. I can't open the .doc file in Word 97.

I'm sorry, I can't find an attachment but with the doc I sent, there was no
graphic on the pages where the headers and footers had vanished - ie the 3rd
and
subsequent pages.

Not sure if this a duplicate or not. This seems to be to do with import rather
than export as the document originated from Word (not sure which version it was
created in). Confidential document has been sent to mru.

Headers and footers in a confidential document I have are visible in Word 97
but
not in OOo. When printed to PDF from OOo they are not shown either.

Don't think it is a duplicate - it is not a problem with tables.
My document contains some confidential details and I don't know how to cope with
that...

I'm using OOO300m15 which doesn't seem to be listed. I have a document, saved in
Word format which when opened in MS Word has part of the text missing and the
layout totally screwed.

I have had trouble with several documents where I change the format of one
paragraph and then save the document as a Word .doc. When I come to open the doc
again the para format has reverted to what it was before.

I realise that OOo is similar to MS Word in many ways. However, WordPerfect has
a useful, perhaps even essential, feature that if there are two [HRt] (newline)
codes at the beginning of a page, then the second is hidden when displaying and
printing the document. OOo and Word on the other hand display/print the blank
line. This can look naff if you're writing a book or a professional document.
Any chance of providing an option to hide the second of two newlines at the
beginning of a page?

I'm not clear whether this claims to be fixed or not - it says fixed but also
says target milestone is OOo 2.0.1. Certainly I'm still having problems with
OOo 2.0

I'm not sure any values should be converted on reading a .csv file into
Spreadsheet in any case. A .csv is after all basically a plain text file.

I've attached a .csv file that fails. I could find no option to attach a csv so
I've marked it as plain text. Hope that works.

When I import a .csv the preview looks fine but cells containing times - e.g.
8.00pm, 10.45am - are translated as 00:00.00 or 45:00.00. There should be no
translation with a .csv surely...
