It was then exported to PowerPoint. It has been a while, so I don't remember if I uploaded the original OO version imported into the 2.0 beta, or whether it was one that had been exported to PP and reimported. I am pretty sure it is the former though. I had edited it in the OOO 1.9 to update it. When I tried to play it, that is when I noticed the slowness of the transitions. The results are: NORMAL ACTION Wipe (all directions) Random Bars SLUGGISH ACTION Dissolve Uncover (all directions) Venetian Blinds Cover Comb Diagonal Squares looked like normal with left-down, but with right-up, it was slower, even though fast was selected and applied. I did notice one other thing while this was happening the first time. I was running Totem-xine, and playing (listening) to a video. When I was using the dissolve, the audio for the playback skipped. Perhaps this is indicative of something. The desktop system has an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Plus based card, the laptop has ATI Radeon IGP. This occurs on both systems on which I have the 2.0 beta. The presentation I am using has 24 slides, and I am using the Dissolve transition between slides with the speed set to fast. It takes about 4 seconds on system 1 and 7 seconds to complete a transition between slides on system 2 below. This isn't so bad, but the dissolve process is not smooth, but seems to vary in speed, fast, slow, fast as it completes the transition. This is not the way it was in OOO 1.1.x, so this is a regression.
