I make a table.
10 columns, two rows.
In the 2nd column, 2nd row I enter 21:18, meaning for me 21 minutes and 18
seconds. I press tab to move to the next column [3,2].
OO.o writer replaces it with 09:18:00 PM.
I fidget and press ctrl+z, which brings me back to 21:18 in [2,2]. Through a
combination of pressing delete, clicking and getting pissed off I realise there
isn't an obvious way of telling it to fuck off.
I fidget around in the AutoCorrect thinger 'till I realise it has no option to
change it.
I look in the help files. There isn't a mention about it being able to
automatically do that, let alone a way to turn it off.
I experiment. Outside of the table field it doesn't assume I can't understand 24
hour notation. It still thinks I want to write 09:18:00 PM if I write 021:18 or
21 : 18. Furthermore, it assumes I wanted 51:00:00 when I actually typed
21:1800. Adding insult to injury, when I type 035:18 it assumes I wanted
11:18:00 AM instead, which exposes the thinking of the bonehead who wrote that
function.
I can't find a fucking way to turn it off, so here we are.
I now realise that 21m18s works just as well but the point here is that I wanted
to enter 21:18 iand OO.o won't let me/i!
