I am running Gentoo Linux with KDE as my window manager. OpenOffice does not respect the active monitor and instead always opens on the last monitor it was open on. If this is actually a separate issue, I'd be happy to file a new bug. This looks at least related though (not following the window manager). I have been using the app-office/openoffice package (compiled locally) without any special CFLAGS. I am willing to help track down the issue, but I'm not terribly familiar with the OOo codebase and will probably need some hand-holding. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
