[graphics-issues] [Issue 99096] Word prioritization missin g from dictionary
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=99096 --- Additional comments from jfuller2...@openoffice.org Tue Jun 9 18:26:37 + 2009 --- Jeff Fuller (06-08-2009) I was able to replicate this bug on OOo 3.0.0 (OOO300m7) running under Windows XP x64, but not in more recent version of OOo as detailed below. I replicated the bug following these steps: 1.Start Impress and create a new presentation 2.Type the word “prioritization” and hit enter At this point, the bug shows itself when the text is red-underlined to show that it is a misspelled word. However, I believe this bug should be closed because the word “prioritization” has been added to the dictionary in the most recent versions of OOo. Following the steps listed above, the bug is not present in either OOo 3.1.0 (OOO310m11, the most recent release version) or OOo-dev 3.2.0 (DEV300m49, the most recent development version). “Prioritization” is now in dictionaries of both Impress and Writer. My specs are: Intel Q6700 processor 4 GB memory Windows XP Pro 64-bit / Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit dual boot. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [graphics-issues] [Issue 99228] Can not place text on top of background videos. Impress (a recent versio n, but don't know which one.
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=99228 --- Additional comments from jfuller2...@openoffice.org Fri Jun 5 19:53:35 + 2009 --- Jeff Fuller (06-05-2009) I was able to replicate this on OOo release 3.0.0 (OOO300m7) and on OOo release 3.0.1 (OOO300m15), with both avi and mov files. However, this bug does not show up in the most recent beta (OOo-dev 3.2.0 DEV300m49). The text now shows on top of the video in normal view (if the Send to Back option has been chosen on the movie), but the text still does not show on top in the slideshow. I am running OOO300m7 and DEV300m49 in Windows XP Pro 64-bit. My system is a PC with an Intel Q6700 processor and 4 gb of memory. For OOO300m15 and DEV300m49 I am running on a Toshiba U405-S2856, Intel P8400 processor with 3 gb of memory, in Windows Vista 32-bit. DEV300m49 tested on both systems. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [graphics-issues] [Issue 100336] Adding or removing slides in the outline view deletes or does not move objects
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=100336 --- Additional comments from jfuller2...@openoffice.org Thu Jun 4 03:06:35 + 2009 --- Jeff Fuller (06-03-20009) **Correction to comment posted above** In reference to position cursor right after the "Slide 2" icon, I mean that if you follow step 5.2 (press backspace to delete a slide), it will immediately delete the picture from the presentation. Pressing backspace will also keep deleting slides until the text moves back up, but the picture does not come back. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Found that this bug also occurs in OOo-dev 3.2.0 DEV300m49 (Build:9403) running under Windows XP Pro 64-bit. Replicated the behavior (and found something related) following these steps: 1. Create a new presentation in Impress. 2. Type some text in the title and text boxes (use any configuration with either or both so you can see where the text is going). 3. Insert a picture onto the first slide using Insert-->Picture-->From File... and choose any picture you have saved. 4. Click on the Outline tab to change to Outline view 5. Position the cursor right before the title and hit enter to insert a new slide. ***The next fiew steps detail what happens further if you keep inserting slides*** 5.1. Hit enter again as many times as you like and only the text will keep moving to the next slide. The picture object will stay on the second slide. 5.2. Hit backspace and you will see the text move back up until it is again on the same slide as the picture. ***Back to steps that replicated specific behavior described*** 6. Hit backspace to delete the blank slide right before the "original" first slide. At this point the text moves back to the first slide, but the inserted picture disappears. Furthermore, if you position the cursor right after the "Slide 2" icon in Outline view at any point after step 5.1(above), then the picture will disappear then as well. [graphics-issues] [Issue 94327] Unedited table border sett ings change from default value (just click ok)

Steps to reproduce the error: 1. Open Impress 2. Create a new, empty presentation 3. Click Insert --> Table from the top menu 4. Click the Table Properties button in the Table toolbar Note the default values under the Borders tab: Line Arrangement = set no borders Line style = 0.05 pt Line color = white Spacing to contents left and right = 0.10" Spacing to contents top and bottom = 0.05" Synchronize box status = checked 5. Click OK 6. Click the Table Properties button again Note the changed values: Line color = black Spacing to contents left and right = 0.04" Spacing to contents top and bottom = 0.04" This error appears to occur anytime the settings have not been changed (i.e. you have set them to some value, pull up the properties again, click ok, and they get changed). This can cause users to accidentally change settings when they may just be checking what the values are. I am running OOO300m7 in Windows XP Pro 64-bit. [graphics-issues] [Issue 92369] You can not set the presen tation to loop during play
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=92369 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Sep 11 11:32:12 + 2008 --- Jeff Fuller 09-11-2008 I believe this issue should be changed to CLOSED, resolution status INVALID. The bug described is not present. Solution to the issue of not being able to loop a presentation: 1. Start Impress. 2. Open a presentation file. 3. Choose Slide Transition in the Task panel on the right and ensure every slide is set to automatically transition after a set time in the Advance Slide option. 4. Choose Slide Show --> Slide Show Settings in the options along the top of the app. 5. Under Type choose Auto. 6. Set the time (hh:mm:ss) you wish to delay at the end of the last slide. 7. Choose Slide Show --> Slide Show (or press F5 key), and watch the Slide Show loop. Following these steps, your slide show will loop until you stop it manually (right click and choose End / press ESC key). I tested this under OOo 2.4.1 RC 2, OOo 2.4.1, OOO300m4, and OOO300m5. I had no problem looping a presentation under any of these releases. My configuration: Windows XP Pro 64-bit / Vista Ultimate 64-bit dual boot Intel Q6700, 4 GB mem. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Replication steps: 1. Start Impress. 2. Open an existing PowerPoint file that never had its Notes Master edited. 3. Choose "View --> Master --> Notes Master" from the options at the top of the app. At this point, the Impress crashes in OOO300m4 (build: 9347) and OOo 2.4.1. This error occurs under both Windows XP Pro 64-bit and Vista Ultimate 64-bit. OOo brings up the Document Recovery tool automatically, and I submitted an error report. Error Report ID: ry9nyuc. My specs are: Intel Q6700 processor 4 GB memory Windows XP Pro 64-bit / Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit dual boot. I will attach the file I used to make the crash occur, as well as the barely edited version that did not crash Impress. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
