I now find that the export to MSWord 97/2000/XP is not saving checks in
checkboxs either.

With a document loaded, and only contents a graphic pasted from a web page, thus
the graphic is obtained via URL:

1. Right click on graphic.
2. Click on 'Save Graphics'
3. Crashes hard every time.

I have a sample file using this graphic.

More info.
The report is performed by starting with the report form on screen, and
accessing the mail merge function. All defaults are chosen except of course the
database itself.
I did a similar report a year ago in 1.1 (?) and it worked then.

My report format prints addresses from a data file in two columns with as many
addresses on one page as will fit. It works OK except it does not print the
first page (at least) of the data file. It does print the rest of the pages.

I will attach the report form itself. Currently no database will be attached.
The data file is not the problem, only the report's output.

To get the crash, make sure the template file in the html_paste_crash.zip file
is the default before you paste.

Note: This is similar to Issue 38911, which is currently closed. However, it may
have a different cause so I am creating a new Issue for now.

1. In Firefox, load the web page at
http://money.cnn.com/2005/04/08/news/funny/beautiful_money/index.htm
2. Select starting at "Surprise! Pretty people earn more" and ending at the
bottom with "over the national median."
3. Edit/Copy
4. In Writer, paste.
5. In OO m93, I got "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error, R6025, pure virtual
function call.
6. OO dies, then on restart attempts to reload the file. That ends up dying, and
we are in an endless loop.

I am attaching the template used, and the files from .\backup and .\crashdata

Finally, this is not the only similar crash I have had with the same R6025
runtime error. However, it is one where the endless loop problem has shown up.

Update.
Forgot to mention that the previouis post regarded m74 with both machines.

Had not looked for a day or two and did not know anything newer existed.
However, I think that may be immaterial if the template is related.

Question: is the a source for newer builds other than indicated on the OO
download page?

I think I have a breakthrough. Due to another bug in part.
First, I am currently not getting the crash on the Win2k machine.
But I am on the XPHome machine.
When I have the crash, the new bug causes my setting for User Defined Template
to be lost, and I get the default.

Behold: I do not get the crash with the default. But I do with the User Defined
Template, which is nothing more that the default with wider margins.

I have (will) attached the template from the XP machine in the next post.
I do believe that the Win2k and XP machine have the same template. However, I
normally have just created them on the fly.
