Thanks for your help. I switched to using the MacOS directory as the launch
point and it works as expected on 3.0.1.

I recently upgraded from OOo 3.0 to 3.0.1 and immediately after updating, the
BootstrapConnector I am using (which is discussed here:
viewtopic.php?f=44t=2520 ) stopped working. After connecting a debugger, I see
the following error is thrown during when the BootstrapConnector tries to launch
soffice:

No Info.plist file in application bundle or no NSPrincipalClass in the
Info.plist file, exiting

However, the Info.plist file exists and appears in tact in the
/Applications/OpenOffice.org.app/Contents directory (which I assume is the
correct location).

Also, I can launch soffice on the command line, if I launch it from the
/Applications/OpenOffice.org.app/Contents/program directory.

However, if I move up one directory and try to launch soffice from
/Applications/OpenOffice.org.app/Contents , for example
( ./program/soffice ) , it fails to launch on the command line and I get the
same error as above. Same thing happens if I try to launch from any directory
outside of /Applications/OpenOffice.org.app/Contents/program

Here is the full URL for the BootstrapConnector, just FYI
http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=44t=2520

However, I think this problem is independent from the above connector.

The soffice executable should be usable from outside of the /program directory.
