When inserting other draw documents, the graphics styles are not inserted. The
same problem appears in impress.

To reproduce the error follow these steps:

- open new draw document
- draw a rectangle on the page
- press F2 while rectangle is selected and type Text
- select x in Text and set font size to 96
- press F11 to open Style and Formatting
- create a new graphics style test with area color red and font size 40
- assign the graphics style to the rectangle
- save file
- open a new draw document
- via menu: Insert | File...

expected result (verified in OOo 3.1.1):
- a page with a red rectangle is loaded
- text has font size 40 (x has size 96)
- the graphics styles contain the style test

actual result in OOo 3.2.1:
- a page with a blue rectangle is loaded
- text has not size 40 (x has size 96, since not defined in style)
- the graphics styles does not contain the style test

OOo worked as expected until 3.1.1 (I think even until 3.2.0).
In 3.2.1 the behavior was changed.

When I insert an other document I expect the objects to appear as designed in
the other document. Due to the new behavior I have to find the mentioned dialog
(I finally found it, cause you told me how to find it), do dragging and dropping
(in my tests handle several OOo crashes ;-), afterwards I have to reassign the
inserted objects to their style (since I forgot to transfer the styles before
importing the file).

You don't really want to tell me that this is user friendly...

In my opinion this is a defect.
It worked well (as expected) until version 3.1.1.
Why should it be working as intuitively expected until 3.1.1 and no longer be
working in 3.2?

To produce an invalid image url follow these steps:

- create an image and save it to test/images/image.jpg
- create a presentation with one page and save it to test/test.odp
- add the image as a linked image to the page
- save the presentation and close

- open the presentation - everything is ok
- save the presentation with save as... to test/images/test.odp
- close the presentation

- open the presentation test/images/test.odp
- the image cannot be loaded, the image url is invalid

I often prepare slides with text over background images.
They look good on my LCD monitor, but when I want to present them on the beamer,
it looks completely different.

It would be good to have the ability to change
- brightness
- contrast
- gamma
- and reset everything to default
during presentation.

An impress file should contain many slides (e.g. 40), each with a linked image
(not embedded).

In Slide Pane:
- select slide 20
- scroll up to slide 1 (using mouse wheel)
- wait 3 seconds and do nothing
error: slide pane is scrolled back to slide 20 (and selection of slide 20 is
blinking)

In Slide Pane:
- select slide 20
- scroll down to slide 30 (using mouse wheel)
- wait 1 second and do nothing
- try to scroll further down
error: slide pane is scrolled back to slide 20

In Slide Sorter (4 slides per row):
- slide 40 is already selected from normal view
- scroll up to first row
- wait 1-2 seconds and do nothing
error: slide sorter is scrolled back to slide 40

In Slide Sorter:
- slide 40 is already selected from normal view
- select an other slide
- wait 1-2 seconds and do nothing
error: selection jumps back to slide 40

This behavior is not reproducible, if the images are embedded in the impress
file.

Maybe this issue has to do with issues 97757 and/or 101221.

My system:
Fedora 10
KDE 4.3.1
OOo 3.1.1 is from OOo homepage, not from fedora repository

I installed the german language pack for OOo 680m118 on Linux (FC4) with
OOo_1.9.118_LinuxIntel_langpack_de.sh.

When I started OOo afterwards the english UI appeared. I deleted
.openoffice.org2 in my home directory and copied the old .openoffice.org1.9.104
(my last OOo2 test) to .openoffice.org2 and then the german UI appeared.

It seems I had the wrong expectation. Sorry ;-). Your comment pointed me to the
right place.

Setting german in the tools options works fine and also setting
LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 before starting OOo the first time (after deleting
$HOME/.openoffice.org2).

LANG was en_US.UTF-8 before.
