I've kept it in rtf format for sharing with other users who don't use OOo apps. Yesterday I started using the Record Changes feature while I made several hours worth of edits. I saved the file, closed the program, emailed a copy to my colleague, and then neither of us could open the file. The message in OO is File format error found at 528,7 (row,col). This is on my MacBook Pro using Mac OSX 10.5.7. My colleague is using Windows XP on a Dell machine and she tried Word and Text editor with no luck (different error message though).
