I received an update to OO today and installed it. When I opened up Writer, it
had a message that updates for extensions was available, click here.

When I click, I get a runtime error.

I tried it 3 times in a row, and it did it all 3 times.

Anyone else having a problem?

Win 2K SP4

Thanks

Lisa Barr

Perhaps the reason you guys don't see the problem is that the upload file size
is 1MB. If it is a memory problem, this would hinder your ability to recreate
the circumstances.

This seems to be a re-occuring problem, but I believe all of the other issues
show to be "FIXED". However, it is not fixed. And this problem has been going
on since version 1.1.

Graphics randomly disappear, but will show up if you take the .odt document and
export it to .pdf, or sometimes if you look at it in the web view.

It seems to happen when you view another page of the same document.

There was a work around in another issue (22386) in reference to the
presentation module. the work around was to "save as" the file.

I did this and the graphics didn't show up in the new file, but did re-appear in
the old file.

It leads me to believe this is a "refresh" or memory limit problem. The file I
was working on was 560KB in size, and I had been working on it for about 1 hour
without saving.

I can't re-create the issue because it happens randomly. but I'd be happy to
upload the document on which it happened.

[sw-issues] [Issue 22453] Unwanted-jump to cursor

The same is true when doing a mail merge.

I have the spreadsheet (database) open at the top of the screen.
I have the text document open at the bottom of the screen.

the Writers Guide says to click on the column of the spreadsheet you want to
insert as a database field, and drag it to the text document so it will be
inserted at the point you want it to appear.

But when you do this, the doc jumps all over the place.

Even if you put your cursor into the spot you want to insert, when you drag the
field down, the doc jumps up.

this is driving me crazy! and forcing me to make mistakes by inserting fields
where they don't belong.

Please change this!

My OS is Windows 2000 SP4
OO ver 2.4.0

I'll be happy to post docs & spreadsheet for testing. Please let me know
