When a complex dialog is saved in the API it is reproducable saving a OOo document (no matter what module) does not save the dialog. This is a nasty surprise after adding lots of items to a dialog and then returning to OOo after a succesful save and finding that your dialog is still in the state it was before you built the additional objects and saved the document. I really hope this can be looked into as soon as possible. Marinus. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The ElseIf and EndIf statements are one word in the Parameters declaration but in the Example EndIf is declared with two words, i.e. End If. To reproduce: 1. Open document focustest.ods 2. Tools - Macros - Organise Macros - OpenOffice.org Basic 3. focustest - Standard - Module1 - Edit 4. Select Dialog1 either by tab or through the organiser 5. Rightclick on the button 'CommandButton1' 6. Properties - Tab 'Events' - 'When receiving focus' or any other event 7. Document focustest.ods with library hierarchy visible; we can assign 8. Open another application, i.e. Firefox 9. Focus the spreadsheet, i.e. in Windows XP click on the appropriate button on __ the taskbar 10. Focus the non-related application, i.e. Firefox 11. Focus the API 12. Focus Firefox 13. Focus the API 14. Repeat step 5 but notice the hierarchy is not intact anymore. This is not logical as we have created this library as part of the documents hierarchy and therefore we should have the hierarchy visible when performing assignments from a subpart of the document. This is appareant when trying to assign a macro to a button in a dialog upon returning to the API. This fails, as only the main OpenOffice.org libraries are initialized. Trying to assign a macro in the components library is not possible until refocusing the components window or re-compiling the components library. It is my opinion, if this is intended behaviour, that focussing upon the loaded library should be forced if the API is in focus. Otherwise, a user is left to wonder where his macros went. Ofcourse, it's easy to refocus the main component but it doesn't seem logical or user friendly. You're right, but that is not my point. There clearly is a quirk in the calibration of the object alignment. If I manually pre-select a cell and then cut and paste a button to that cell the anchoring should be forced to that specific cell and not an adjacent cell, and there should be no compensation/compromizing neccesary. Objectalignment should be consistent and uncomplicated. I don't think it's fair to expect a basic user to zoom in to 300% and define the size of a button based on Row height/Column width, crosscheck and determine it's correctly aligned to the Row/Column and then discover that upon zooming back to 100% the button is not even close to the row/column, albeit aligned to the desired cell. A total of 200 random tests over a period of five months resulted in this data. It does not occur when using 'Save all' through the API. This has been occuring in all of the 680mX versions. I cannot discover a pattern, however. Also, this has been tested on a total of 5 different XP installations/systems. Total saves: 200 Total failures on macro-code: 34 Total failures on spreadsheet components: 11 Failure means: Save confirmed by hidden save-button, both in the API interface and the spreadsheet application. When opening document after complete OOo shutdown the document is in the state it was before the save. I have attached the document, maybe it will provide a clue.
