My default input language is English (United States). OpenOffice 3.0m23 installed version is en-US (english). In OpenOffice, I set my Default language for documents (western) to French (France). All other settings are default. 1) When I create a new document, it shows first in the status bar French (France). Then, when I type any word and Enter, it reverts to English (USA)! The spelling correction of my first paragraph turn to english! 2) When I try to change the spelling language of a text document, with - Tools - Language - For all text (or selection or paragraph) or - Select all, and Format - Character - Font - Language to French (France), it also reverts to English (USA) as soon as I press Enter! No way to keep default language to French (France)!!! (Note that the dictionary is installed). Is it due to the fact that my keyboard layout is US english and/or my local settings and input language is also English (United States)??!? Anyway, I guess that it shout be possible to set the language of a document, independently of any other OS setting.
