hi
it is not at all about shrinking the image.
The problem are the edges...
If you shrink G the column H displaces the edge further. The distance from the
border's page is not the same and the value in [Format Page] was not changed.
It is not about the image, it's about the displacement.
It's shown in the tripod.com link.
I don't know maybe it should be this way, but I don't understand why.

If you think it does not need to be fixed, closing the issue is fine by me.

ok, to be honest, I was not able to reproduce it again.

the issue with the image's width, was because the image's size was not
protected. so sorry.

but actually there is some kind of bug. I suppose.
As images say more than words can do, here a link (turn off JavaScript):
http://dreamcase0.tripod.com/ooissue/ooissue.html

well, what I think is wrong there, is that the image moves although the edges
are the same size. yes i have seen that the border line moved also.

OO 2.0.3

if you had not replied (email notif.) i would have forgotten to reply. thanks.

For convenience I'll use an image as exmaple. I have not tried it, but I suppose
(hope) it will also work with text.
Opened a new document and the edges of the page set as followed:
left 0,5 cm
right 0,5 cm
top 1 cm
bottom 1 cm
insert a pic. (well okay just change the right edge but I needed it that way)
Is not the bug: The edges appeared now, why are they not from the beginning
there?
And if I do not change the page's layout, an other way to let them show up is
with File Page Preview. Well it's not that important, just annoying.

Okay now put the image some pixels away from the thicker line and page preview
it. Well as you see, or I hope you see, that it is still 2 cm from the page's
border away.
The edge (thicker line) should be at the end of cell H, at least mine.
Now to not change the image's ratio, I have to displace it (annoying) and change
the cell's H width so that the thicker line jumps over to I. Now move the image
to the page's edge and page preview it.
And what if I do not want to have any edge or at 0,30 cm? So go and change it
to: right 0,00 cm or 0,30 cm. Page preview it and as you see nothing happened.
Change the width of cell I and page preview it.

[the image's width only changes if the thicker line crosses it. if you do not
get the width the first time you have to undo it and you know, just annoying]

Well I hope I could help and that you already have been noticed about that
bug. If not, what a pitty so if this could be fixed I would be very glad and
yes, less annoyed.
:D

I am sorry I got kinda lost, while I was writing, so if it has been
incomprehensible, I am sorry.
