Our requirement is to embed files in xls, pdf, xlsx etc format to the document created Our application is coded using Java. Please help us with information - if there is any existing API that we can use in our application so that we embed the above mentioned files to the doc created. We want this in manner just as we get when we directly open a openoffice writer and embed a file using Insert - using OLE regards, Nidhi - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. We are able to create openoffice doc through our application but not able to embed files like xls,pdf etc. The requirement is to embed the object such that when this doc is opened, the embedded objects are shown as icons and when we click on them the file opens in that format without asking for any authentication regards, Nidhi - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Is there any known limitation on performance of openoffice with Solaris and Websphere combination 2. Or this kind of behavior is totally unexpected We are trying to find why the time taken is so different in both the environments. We logged time taken by every cell and found that (Initially when writing the cell- time take per cell is approx 1-3 millisecs. As the number of row increases this time taken per cell increases. It reaches up to 15millisecs per cell at around 2500 row number ) Please let us know if you can give us any pointers for the same Really appreciate your inputs/help on this - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
