This bug still exists in openoffice 2.4 under ubuntu (openoffice.org-core
1:2.4.1-lubuntu2.1). The unopkg package manager fails on the command line and
the extension manager in openoffice write is not doing anything.
A solution is to move the .openoffice.org2 directory from your nfs home dir to a
locally accessible dir and create a symbolic link to this directory in your nfs
home dir.
Interestingly, after removing the symbolic link and copying the directory back
to the nfs home dir, it kept working, so it is hard to reproduce even for me.
