[sw-issues] [Issue 48525] New - OOo window maximized in 2nd screen has right-justified menus
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=48525 Issue #:|48525 Summary:|OOo window maximized in 2nd screen has right- |justified menus Component:|Word processor Version:|680m95 Platform:|PC URL:| OS/Version:|Windows XP Status:|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard:| Keywords:| Resolution:| Issue type:|DEFECT Priority:|P4 Subcomponent:|ui Assigned to:|mru Reported by:|nonuthin --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun May 1 17:09:42 -0700 2005 --- I have two monitors connected, with the desktop set to extend across both monitors. When I maximize an OOo window (writer and calc tested), the File, Edit, etc. menus all drop down right-justified, as if they were too near the edge of the screen to open normally. In the case of the File menu especially, this makes the dropdown split across both monitors. Issue tracking query wouldn't load, so I was unable to check for duplicates. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sc-issues] [Issue 44731] New - Conditional Labels for cell values, similar to Conditional Formatting
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=44731 Issue #:|44731 Summary:|Conditional Labels for cell values, similar to |Conditional Formatting Component:|Spreadsheet Version:|680m77 Platform:|All URL:| OS/Version:|All Status:|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard:| Keywords:| Resolution:| Issue type:|ENHANCEMENT Priority:|P3 Subcomponent:|formatting Assigned to:|spreadsheet Reported by:|nonuthin --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Mar 10 08:13:44 -0800 2005 --- The SPSS statistics program (www.spss.com) has a useful feature for improving the entry and readability of large data arrays: You can define labels that will be displayed within the cell when certain values are entered. For instance, a value '1' can be coded to display as Female while '2' can display Male. In SPSS this is called Value Labels, but the functionality is very similar to Calc's Conditional Formatting. It could possibly be integrated into the same dialog as that feature. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sw-issues] [Issue 42072] only grey out inactive Toolbars
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=42072 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Feb 22 08:13:37 -0800 2005 --- I can see a few changes that would alleviate this problem in advance of a full spec fix: 1) Gentler defaults where possible. Example: Clicking a line removes the formatting toolbar, but adds the Drawing Object Properties toolbar to the right side of the standard toolbar. Instead, add it below the standard toolbar, where the formatting bar just disappeared from. This causes no jarring of the content area. 2) Scroll the document differently when adding toolbars. If a toolbar needs to appear docked at the top, scroll the visible document area down the exact height of the toolbar. In essence, keep the lowest visible area of the document still visible when a toolbar appears at top. The visual effect would be no apparent movement of document content, just reduced visible area where a toolbar covered some of the content. Do the opposite for toolbars that need to appear docked at bottom. This should also eliminate the jarring effect, and reduces the problem area to just what's covered by an appearing toolbar. If the cursor is in such an area, maybe it should be scrolled back into visibility. I'm not sure about what to do there. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
