''Printing...'' dialog remains and cannot be cancelled. Trying to exit is blocked as component thinks print job is still being carried out. Happens in Writer and Calc and, presumably, other components. I have printed the same documents in 2.0.2 and the problem does not appear. [graphics-issues] [Issue 45923] Export to Powerpoint caus es problems with Notes View
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=45923 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Jan 20 07:24:23 -0800 2006 --- I have this bug. FWIW I get around it by opening the ppt presentation in Impress, select notes view, select all slides and finally, in Task Pane... Layouts, I select the Notes Layout. This works immediately but it also is preserved when I close and re-open the ppt file provided that it is not re-saved. Don't know if this will help!! - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. When a Note in Calc is Arranged to the background it forms a background copy which does not respond to user actions. Deleting cell contents or columns eventually removes the background copy of the note (unacceptably it also removes all other data), but it does not remove the background copy of the callout line. Navigator does not acknowledge background copy. Method Insert... Note in cell (callout note edited etc) Right click on Note and Arrange... To Background. Show Note (if hidden) Moving or deleting note reveals a background copy. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Three apps (Writer, Calc, Impress) crash when trying to access installed macro module, in order to assign to key. (Haven't tried on Draw or Base.)Using rc5. Tools... Customize... Category... slide down to Openoffice.org Macros. Click on + expander(takes few seconds to expand). Go to User or Share, click on + expander and crash message appears. Have repeated this in total nine times, twice in each app. Plus, one each using context menu on toolbar to initiate Customize. This procedure worked successfully in 2.0.1 rc4, no new/different macros installed. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [graphics-issues] [Issue 45593] Measurement unit: Inch - Needs more decimal places
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=45593 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Oct 29 03:53:57 -0700 2005 --- For imperial measurement users, fractions beyond the first level fractions (1/2, 1/4, 3/4) are rounded. While the rounding is small it produces two main irritations for me 1. it reduces the accuracy of positioning items on a page (in my case photographs from post-production issued in inch measurements) 2 it over-simplifies (potential errors) our inventory in Calc and Base involving equipment in the workshop that are in imperial measure such as screw-threads, bolts and nuts etc. While we work around this at present, it nontheless makes me ask why it has to be. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
