[sc-issues] [Issue 77955] Insert-Sheet From File.. .: Default name should be based on file name.
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=77955 --- Additional comments from o...@openoffice.org Mon May 24 15:40:38 + 2010 --- es, I would prefer that Issue 77953 be fixed (along with this one) and the sheet name were editable in the import dialog. Then there would be no reason to have an additional option--the name would be set to the file name by default, which in any case makes more sense than the arbitrary Sheet 1, and the user could edit it to whatever she prefers--even Sheet 1 if she is so inclined... [graphics-issues] [Issue 30418] Export dialog retains no s tate between exports unlike save-as
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=30418 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Nov 8 18:44:44 + 2007 --- Imagine a typical use case: You have a document with a number of drawings that you want to export to some .../images/ directory. For each export the dialog jumps back to some other directory and you have to click your way through to the images folder. This behavior is very annoying. I don't see why export would share state with save as It should have it's own state (per document) and open the directory of the last export -- of the same document. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. So the Word format shouldn't be an option in the export dialog. I don't see why this statement is conclusive. What harm would it do to offer editable formats under export...? I agree with all other comments above that all third-party formats should be listed under export... as well. That's the intuitive place if you don't want to switch to that format. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
