They reject any other format. Because of this bug, I will have to use MS-WORD. Now considering to buy it and remove OOo. Such simple and stupid things are simply destroying OOo credibility, whatever the product can do elsewhere. If it cannot communicate, it is useless. I even proposed on another forum that sponsors would pay to have specific bugs corrected. Got no positive feedback yet. Is this bug tracking tool even useful to something? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [graphics-issues] [Issue 45923] Export to Powerpoint cause s problems with Notes View

IBM/LOTUS Symphony 1 solved the issue, as well as others (we can include tables, without opening the spreadsheet etc...) Time to switch to something else, maybe... - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [graphics-issues] [Issue 45923] Export to Powerpoint cause s problems with Notes View
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=45923 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun May 18 17:17:25 + 2008 --- I spent a lot of tim etrying to sort out this bug. My observations: This bug can be found in Ooo 1.x 2.x and now 3beta (unfortunately...). As far as the file is saved in Ooo format (whatever, as versions changed): no pbm. When saved as ppt file, Notes pages are altered. It tends to be that the active page is not affected. Some pages are not affected elsewher (I have not found the cause). Alteration: the Slide image is replaced with a blank rectangle, which is roughly at the original place. Sometimes, the blank rectangle is a zero pixel width rectangle, located oustide of the Page (generally on the left). It is very tall (I do not know how many picels) and thus look like a vertical line. The altered pages are the same if viewed by Ooo or MSPP. Ooo can correct if all slides are selected and default format is chosen (as described somewhere else). But the blank rectangles stay. Actually, if different save as ppt operations are made, the pages accumulate different blank rectangles, which, funily, do not have the same dimensions. If a ppt file has been corrected with ooo using the previously mentionned trick, the concerned slides/pages seem to stay stable for a while. But newly created pages will be latered on later saving. I hope such bug can get a real treatment, after two versions changes, as failing so obviously to Export in MS format is the typical thing that makes people reject Ooo. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
