Did you have a look at all templates or did you just look at that certain case?
Because I remember that it did not only happen with that certain case.

still there, but may be caused by german translations.

use the assistant to create a new modern fax from private and you end up having
this:

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,,

(double commas) whereas one comma has a grey background and the other one does
not have any background.

As of OOo 3.0 there is no possibility to print handouts and / or notes of a
presentation. It used to be the case in previous versions that you could click
on Options in the printing dialog and tick that you want to print handouts,
while you can select many things there, it is not possible to select such things
anymore.

When using the assistant to create a FAX and / or a letter, comma mistakes in
German openoffice after salutation are being made under some circumstances

Here's a list:

Modern fax [by privat]: Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,, (double commas, while
the first one is being highlighted grey with the word before and the last one
not being highlighted grey).

Classical fax [by private]: Same as above

Private fax: Same as above

Letters: I noticed some frictions but didn't have a deeper look.

From my perspective, it seems as the salutations in the assistant are not
consistent: In some dialogs, like for fax, the salutation already contains a
comma and OpenOffice pastes an other one later (which it obviously does always)
while in others (like some letters) no commas are in the salutation in the
assistant and thus Openoffice only adds one comma, which is right.

Does not really have something to do with the report but maybe the function
Assistants should be reviewed a little bit for OpenOffice 3.0

[sw-issues] [Issue 86614] provide an easy way to app ly bullets and numbering preferences for the whole document and / or all documents written in the future

I really do not want to degenerate this issue into a support request. If I do
so, I am really sorry about it.

I am aware of the Styles and formatting window, but is there a possibility to
tell AutoCorrect or whatever automatically continues the numbering / listing to
use a certain List Style that I have created?

What I find weird is that all List Styles that are available in the Styles and
Formatting window by default contain an indent of 0. When I write down some
numbers and OpenOffice.org automatically creates a numbering for me, it uses an
indent of 0.64cm

When you currently want to write a numbering, some function in OpenOffice helps
you by automatically creating future numberings which is good. But the numbering
is idented by 0.64cm.

If you want to change this, you have to go to Format - bullets and numbering -
position and change the value of ident to 0. But this change only applies for
one numbering.

What I am missing here are two buttons: One like Apply this to all current and
further numberings in this document and one like Apply this to all current and
further numberings in this and further documents.

Currently, it is not possible to copy diagrams to other applications than
OpenOffice.

For example, some users may want to paste their OpenOffice.org diagrams to the
Gimp in order to save them as a PNGs.
