To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=99121 --- Additional comments from pjent...@openoffice.org Mon Jan 10 13:21:07 + 2011 --- We're seeing this too in our documents. It only happens in formulas that use userfields which are not referenced in the document. The problem can be circumvented by adding a hidden section at the end of the document that contains direct references (by using Insert-FieldsOther...VariablesUserField, not in a formula) to all userfields in the document which are used in forumlas. It seems the internal value is only initialized a first use and this is not properly considered when calculating formulas in writer documents. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. But each time the documents is modified, the title gets reset to the filename of the currently opened file. This makes the Title property of Frame instances rather useless (for writing, at least). The title property should not be modified by OOo once it has been set through the API. I think this is a bug, so I'm opening an issue for this. If there is another way to modify the window title, I'd gladly post a request to the mailing list. Thanks, Peter - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sw-issues] [Issue 62643] New - Numeric values in us erfields handled inconsistently in multilingua l environments
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=62643 Issue #:|62643 Summary:|Numeric values in userfields handled inconsistently |in multilingual environments Component:|Word processor Version:|OOo 2.0.2 Platform:|PC URL:| OS/Version:|Windows XP Status:|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard:| Keywords:| Resolution:| Issue type:|DEFECT Priority:|P3 Subcomponent:|formatting Assigned to:|mru Reported by:|pjentsch --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Feb 28 04:32:24 -0800 2006 --- I have OOo2.0RC2 with german and english language pack installed on WinXP with german locale. The chosen UI language for OOo is English (UK) The attached document contains a userfield with a numeric value of 1.23. The language setting saved with the document is german. The current locale setting is default, which resolves to german because of my german WinXP installation. The value is thus shown as 1,23 actual behaviour: a) if I change the language setting for the current document to English (UK), the displayed value of the field gets correctly updated to 1.23. When choose Extras-Update-Fields, the value *incorrectly* changes to 123. b) if I try to correct the change value 123 back up 1.23 (double-click on field, enter value in dialog Edit Fields: Variables), entering 1,23, the value keeps getting reset to 123. c) If I try to correct the value entering 1.23 the value gets set to 44927. To set the value back to 1.23, I have to enter 001.23, which gets reset to 123 when I reopen the document. d) when I open the document, change the locale setting from default to English (UK), and then change the language setting (Extras-Options-Language Settings-Languages-Default language for document-Western) to english (uk), the same as in a) happens e) when I close the document, change the locale setting to English (UK), then open the document and *then* change the language setting for the current document to English (UK), the field correctly keeps its value, and the display gets correctly updated to 1.23 (from 1,23). expected behaviour: - the locale setting should determine how values entered in a dialog are interpreted - changing language or locale setting should change the display of values but have no influence whatsoever on the values themselves. c) is a regression from OOo 1.1.4, which correctly intreprets 1.23 as 1.23 when the locale settings are set to English (UK) - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The first issue concerns formulas, and formulas are stored as strings in OOo. This issue concerns userfields, which can handle different datatypes (string, double and date). I guess I should file a seperate issue for c), because it's a regression (works for me in OOo 1.1.4) and deals with *entering* values, not calculating or displaying values. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sw-issues] [Issue 62527] New - Text-formula results change when document language is changed

These formulas may contain number constants with decimal seperators When the document language is changed, the decimal seperators in the document will be interpreted according to the new locale setting. Thus, formulas containing constants will have different results after changing the language. This seems wrong. Constants in formulas should be considered numbers, and, as such, language independent. Changing the document language should change to way number constants are displayed in formulas, not the formula result. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. But if the document is opened in read-only mode, only commands previously known to the frame are dispatched. As I observed, just before the contextmenu is opened, all commands from the contextmenu before modification are requeried (they pass an XDispatchInterceptor registered at the current frame). But after the context menu has been modified, I see no calls to queryDispatch(...). - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [api-issues] [Issue 37361] Error Datei kann nicht erstellt werden loading document from private:stream
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=37361 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Apr 6 03:26:47 -0700 2005 --- Yes, this might have been related to a bug in our software where the soffice.exe was started from java with an additional environment variable, which unfortunately replaces all inherited environment variables, including the TEMP and TMP variables. This eventually led to OpenOffice.org trying to write temporary files to the CWD, where it didn't have write access. So this most probably isn't an OpenOffice.org bug. Also, the problem Konnte Datei private:stream nicht ffnen seems to be unrelated to the problem with umlauts (which I think is a problem in the officebean java classes, which has been addressed in the upcoming release, where the name for pipe connections gets quoted somehow, which it wasn't in the slightly outdated version of the officebean we're working with) Thanks - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
