To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=112102 --- Additional comments from pmla...@openoffice.org Tue Jun 15 09:47:09 + 2010 --- If we use QStyle::PM_LayoutLeftMargin, we will not see the status bar in most KDE4 themes. It is too wide and it replaces the useful content there. Hmm, I see the border in the new Writer window with the Oxygen theme with my diff. I think that the important difference is the +1 in int nFrameWidth = kapp-style()-pixelMetric(QStyle::PM_DefaultFrameWidth) + 1; I do not like magic constants. A better solution might be to get the real border width via QFrame:frameWidth(), see http://doc.qt.nokia.com/4.6/qframe.html#frameWidth-prop. Though, I am not mistaken, we do not have the real QT widget available in the method. The QStyle::PM_DefaultFrameWidth) + 1 looks like a good compromise. It works well in many themes. In each case, I think that the content is more important than the border ;-) - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I would expect that the file format does not allow to save such more complicated formating. Anyway, I am able to change the font of the whole title to another font, e.g. Nimbus Sans L. We would like to keep the old branding. Thus, we would need to put sofficerc, with the old metrics, into the branding packages as well. The branding packages are architecture independent. They must install all files below /usr/share. We must create symlinks from /usr/lib/ooo3 and /usr/lib64/ooo3. Unfortunately, the current sal code resolves the symlink and start to search also other files in /usr/share/ooo3 instead of /usr/lib(64)/ooo3. The problem is that the focus does not follow not the mouse. Steps to reproduce: 1. start OOo writer 2. open the dialog Format/Page 3. select the tab Page 4. hover by mouse over the various combo boxes and spinners and rool by the mouse wheel Current behavior: it still modifies the Paper format values Expected behavior: the focus should follow the mouse, so it should modify the combo box or the spinned right under the mouse cursor Workaround: You need to click on the widget to get the focus I see the expected behavior in OOo-3.0 = it looks like a regression. We solved this problem by setting the WRAPCMD variable in ooo-build/bin/localize-ooo. It did not work well because the PATH was not in quotation marks. Also it did not solve the situation when someone wanted to call localize from the commandline. Finally, I feel that WRAPCMD has another purpose. I will attach a diff that call gsicheck with absolute path. I think that it follows the current approach used in other locations. For example, the absolute path is used even in rsc/source/prj/start.cxx. The ReportBuilder crashed with our build. The mpGraphics pointer is lost in vcl/source/gdi/outdev3.cxx:3540 + method: OutputDevice::ImplNewFont() + line:ImplInitFont(); + called from: vcl/source/gdi/outdev3.cxx:6442 + method: OutputDevice::ImplLayout + line:if( !ImplNewFont() ) The method OutputDevice::ImplNewFont() has the following command on vcl/source/gdi/outdev3.cxx:3501: SalGraphics* pGraphics = mpGraphics; = the pointer mpGraphics is saved and used later = it is expected that it will be lost or modified My solution was to call ImplGetGraphics() in OutputDevice::ImplLayout when the pointer was lost. Another solution would be to restore the mpGraphics pointer at the end of OutputDevice::ImplNewFont(): mpGraphics = pGraphics; I am not 100% sure what happens there and I did not have power do debug it in more deep. Anyway, the current code looks suspicious and a change might be needed. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. It adds option -o that forces using the ooo-specific modules (l10n instead of l10n_so). The problem is that we use the sources from git in ooo-build, so check_modules_scm funtion does not work correctly. Unfortunately, it fallbacks to l10n_so if the module source is unknown. Note that it useful for also for external packagers using the svn sources. They ususally want to keep the source RPM as small as possible, so they remove .svn subdirectories from there. 2. It fixes -h option to return 0 (sucess). We use it to check whether the localize tool is actually built and working. We used which localize in the past but it is not longer enough because the localize wrapper is always available in solenv/bin now - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The string is defined in svtools/source/svrtf/rtfkeywd.hxx as #define OOO_STRING_SVTOOLS_RTF_WMETAFILE \\wmetafile It is not guaranteed that this string is defined only once in the object files, so it is dangerous to compare pointers. I think that it works fine with the most used compilers. Though, this warning is marked as error in openSUSE build system = we need to avoid it. Hmm, my solution with the cast (const sal_Char *) actually just hides the problem. strcmp is not usable (ama knows more details) = we should rework it to use real enums. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. All localizations are merged and zipped otherwise. I will attach a patch that helps to merge and zip only the selected localizations. It might speedup the build of the l10n module. It might help also in other modules because the transex3 tools will work with smaller sdf files. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. This linkflag was added for newer cairo versions. Thorsten suggests to read the system cairo link flags from pkgconfig. My patch moves -lpixman-1 from the common- to internal-cairo-section. For the system cairo, it is provided by the variable CAIRO_LIBS when needed. Note that CAIRO_LIBS is defined in configure by pkgconfig. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. There is a check for boost/spirit/include/classic_core.hpp. This header file is included in boost-1.36, so it is enough to update the error message. I checked that the header was added in boost-1.36, so 1.36 seems that be the right minimal version. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
