Now I see that this seems to be not a specific problem of open office but a problem of kde. The same problem is with dolphin. I now use SUSE 11.2 with KDE 4.3.5 and OO 3.1.1.4 (from DVD). The problem does still exist. If you don't know what I mean with "undocked menubar" I can send you a screenshot but I didn't see where I can upload it. This menue is not docked near the other menues but is a standalone window on the desktop. When I move the writer to the next/previous virtual desktop using the mouse wheel the undocked menue stays on the old desktop. I see the menue on the desktop viewer. If I switch to that desktop the menue disappears because the writer is not longer active. Switching the desktop by windows menu works.
