[graphics-issues] [Issue 49999] Transitions are very slow and do not respond to ESC key
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=4 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Jun 1 10:54:31 -0700 2005 --- @cgu: turning hardware acceleration down to None in the Troubleshooting tab (reached via Desktop-Display Properties) helps a lot on all transitions. It is still not as smooth or fast as I would like but much better. @thb: not sure if that issue is related as Impress has not crashed, even when I cycled through all the transitions (via the Task Pane) a few times in Normal view (this shows the same problem). My driver version was Catalyst v4.12, I just updated it to CATALYST 5.3(v8.111) but (with hardware acceleration back on) the problem still exists. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The Normal editing view of the document does not usually show these white lines but can be made to by selecting a page transition. When the page transition preview runs the white lines are there. [graphics-issues] [Issue 49999] Transitions are very slow and do not respond to ESC key
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=4 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue May 31 14:46:50 -0700 2005 --- This occurs in OpenOffice (I don't have StarOffice). I tried changing the '3D View' settings under 'Tools/Options/OpenOffice/View' but none of these had any effect on the speed. I wondered if it might be caused by the OLE graphics which showed other display issues (issues 50111, 50113, 50114, 50115), but deleting the OLE graphics from two consecutive slides and adding normal text instead did not speed up the transitions to, from or between the slides. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. It is spellchecked as such, highlighting both dt and datetime as misspellings. I would like an option to treat underscores as part of the word and not as whitespace when spellchecking. Context: I was writing a report on some code which included a number of filenames and variable names in this format and wanted to be able to add the whole name to the dictionary. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [graphics-issues] [Issue 13441] Impress print handouts @ 6/8/?? per page
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=13441 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed May 25 12:46:26 -0700 2005 --- I agree that having to select 'Handouts' and then deselect 'Drawing' is annoying and it's easy to end up printing both by mistake when you are in a rush to get to class ;-) A one button click would be great. I also recall that the first time I tried to use this dialog I couldn't figure out which option(s) to choose to get the handout printout I wanted, as the words used and the help files are vague (eg if I deselect Drawing will I get any graphics in my handouts? if I select Notes will it provide lines next the the slides for handwritten notes like Powerpoint does? etc). It might help to have icons next to the checkboxes to show what they do, or better still a dynamic 'preview' to show the layout(s) your current settings will produce. And finally, this dialog could also do with a 'print in reverse' option. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
