This meant that where several points were identical, or so close that they overlapped, one could see how many copies were present. Now there's no way to do that. May we have this feature back please? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sw-issues] [Issue 90416] Writer closes as soon as i t opens
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=90416 Issue #|90416 Summary|Writer closes as soon as it opens Component|Word processor Version|OOo 2.4.0 Platform|PC URL| OS/Version|Linux Status|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard| Keywords| Resolution| Issue type|DEFECT Priority|P1 Subcomponent|code Assigned to|mru Reported by|seahen --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jun 5 19:26:17 + 2008 --- As soon as Writer starts up, it closes, without giving any error messages; and if Calc is running, it closes as well. Their tasks disappear in the System Monitor. This occurs whether I'm trying to start a new document or open an existing one. The next time I try to start any OOo app, I'm prompted to recover the document. If I choose not to, and I chose to start Calc rather than Writer, Calc starts up just fine. I'm using Kubuntu Hardy Heron with KDE4. I have OOo 2.4.1 (it doesn't say RC1 or RC2). I've tried updating all packages, including a dist-upgrade. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sw-issues] [Issue 12052] Grammar Checker
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=12052 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Feb 27 05:22:38 -0800 2006 --- If you're like me, your problem isn't as much *grammar* per se, as stylistic problems like run-on sentences, or too many sentences starting with The, or unnecessary passive voice. Word and WordPerfect can check for these sorts of errors, but they would of course depend on the type of document (letter versus scientific report versus advertising versus fiction). - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. This could be resolved by allowing each document or template to specify a default list style to attach to each of the two buttons. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Also, it should be possible to specify in a table pane how many rows and columns to display, without altering the table's size. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
