I found printer configs in gentoo servers cups .ppd that indicated they were
generic postcript. This does not work with duplexing.

After re-configuring printers with hp ppd's a duplexing worked fine.

There were some mis-configurations under the gentoo servers ppd's.

Duplexing in 2.0.1 broken as well.

First page flips but printing is held until front page of the second sheet.
>From that point on no duplexing occurs.

using cups for printing.

open office 1.1.3 works fine on same printing system and server.

Duplexing does not work in 2.0.1 linux.

First sheet flips but does not print second side (as did 2.0.0)

But now page 2 and 3 do not print duplex anymore.

So ..

Summary: (all on the same exact system.)

oo 1.1.3 works fine. All duplexing is fine.

00 2.0.0 prints duplex just never on back side of first page. Other pages
duplexing works ok. Skips back of first page.

oo 2.0.1 EVERYTHING is broken. No duplexing works at all.

Duplexing works with Openoffice 1.1.3 but not for 2.0

OpenOffice 1.1.3 duplexes fine with same printing system.

OpenOffice 2.0 does not duplex first sheet.

page 1 front - prints ok
page 1 back - nothing (skips to page 2 front)
page 2 front - prints ok
page 2 back - print ok

All is ok with Openoffice 2.0

While using impress and printing handouts using duplexing, the first page goes
through the duplexer but never prints on the reverse side of page one.

All the handouts print out but skip to page two where the duplex printing begins
and continues ok.

Just does not print on reverse side of the first printed page.
