Thanks, pl!

I will test the BETA or RC release that merges this CWS.

BTW: The new printing system fixes a lot of problems of my colleagues with OOo
in one go. Excellent work, OOo crew!

How to reproduce:

- Open any presentation in Impress 3.3 beta 1
- Choose File | Print... from the menu

The new print dialog appears

- On the tab General, under Print, choose Document = Handouts

The preview on the left changes

- Choose Order = Left to right, then down
- The preview is redrawn, but the order is still Top to bottom, then right!
- Printing is as shown in the preview (not according to the Order settings)!

openoffice.org (openSuSE 11.0, x86_64, 4 GB memory)

This solution is fine for now.

I agree with rsking84 that being able to use both relative and absolute
references in data ranges would make Calc's behavior more predictable. Calc now
silently changes relative references to absolute references without warning.

Defaulting to relative references would likely confuse and surprise a lot of
inexperienced users, though. Default should be absolute references.

It would make Calc stand out amongst spreadsheet programs (compared to Excel and
Gnumeric)!

After importing a xls spreadsheet containing several xy charts of large data
sets (ca. 12000 datapoints per range) all charts contain gaps in the first data
series.

In OOO320m21 (x86-64, openSuSE 11.2, from openSuSE stable build service) these
gaps are permanent. No action make the gaps disappear.

In DEV300m80, when editing the chart (i.e. changing the plot options to include
data from hidden cells) these gaps disappear permanently. The gaps are not in
hidden cells, and most likely these actions just force Calc to redraw of the
meta-file, correcting the problem.

Saving this file to .ods and opening it again in either OOO320m21 or DEV300m80
will result in charts without gaps. Any editing in OOO320m21 will make the gaps
re-appear.

OOO320m21 clearly has problems drawing these charts correctly, but m80 can
(after some prodding). Could you please make it do so during the xls import
too, before version 3.3 comes out?

How to reproduce in DEV300m80:

- select a data series in a graph in Calc, and set transparency to non-zero
value
- print graph

Result:
Any data series with transparancy 0% is positioned incorrectly in the graph.
There is an offset in both the x and y positions.

Tested with 3 different (networked) printers, using 3 different drivers: HPLJ
4350 and two Develop color copiers/printers.

Used DEV300m80 from www.openoffice.org (on openSuSE 11.0, x86_64).

Problem does not occurr in OpenOffice.org 3.2.0 on the same printers. Could this
be a regression caused by the inclusion of CWS vcl106?

How to reproduce:

- In Calc, create XY-chart with 2 data series longer than 1113 items
- Select 1 data series in chart, and choose Format Data Series... from context

- In tab Line set transparency to value 0%, and press OK.
- The line is displayed correctly: right colour, right amount of transparency
- Leave edit-mode of chart
- The line is displayed incorrectly: wrong colour, no transparency

Problem observed in:
OOo 3.1.1 (OOo310m19, build 9420) on Windows XP (32-bits, 1 GB memory)

I will test it as soon as the first builds with this fix included hit the net.

I just put in a vote for this issue on behalf of several colleagues at my

They noticed that copying a picture and the drawing objects to draw (2 separate
actions of course, as you can't SHIFT-click to select them together) and copying

There are people at my office who need relative links to work. Any estimate on
when this bug is going to get fixed?

When exporting a calc document with hyperlinks to HTML, the hyperlinks placed in
the HTML document are exact copies of the text shown by Calc in the Path field
under Insert | Hyperlink.

The hyperlinks in the HTML document should be made relative or absolute
depending on the user's settings under

Tools | Options | Load / Save | General: [] Save URL's relative to file system
 and
Tools | Options | Load / Save | General: [] Save URL's relative to internet

IMHO this could also be the real cause of the problem described in issue 46478.

Just uploaded the Draw document edited and saved with OOo 2.4.0.

For the correct connector placement see screenshot in first attachment:
OpenSuSE 11.1 OOo 3.0.0 anoniem.png

For the incorrect connector placement see screenshot in second attachement:
OpenSuSE 10.3 OOo 3.1.0 anoniem.png

Some additional observations that might help:

- saving this document in version 3.0.0 as either odf 1.1 or odf 1.2 makes the
connector problem disappear in version 3.1.0.
- after saving this document in version 2.4.0 (odf 1.1) the connector problem
still exists in version 3.1.0.

It seems version 3.1.0 is in some way incompatible with connectors in odg
documents created with version 2.4.

Happy bug hunting!

An existing Draw document (previously edited with version 2.4) contains
connectors: arrows and lines connecting rectangles. In all versions of Draw up
to now (tested with Open Office 3.0.0 as supplied with openSuSE 11.1) the
document is displayed correctly.

When opening this document in version 3.1.0 several connectors take huge detours
between their start and end points. Tried on:
openSuSE 10.3 (OOO310m21, build 9319, Novell build 3.1.0.6)
openSuSE 11.0 with wine 1.22 (OOO310m11, build 9399, Novell build 2009=05-27)
Windows XP SP3 (OOO310m11, build 9399)
